Abstract: A liquid crystal panel and a light guide plate are held by a holding member which covers at least a portion of a surface of the light guide plate remote from the liquid crystal panel. A circuit attachment plate supporting a liquid crystal driver circuit board with a liquid crystal driver circuit mounted thereon is positioned within the area of the liquid crystal panel and mounted on the holding member remotely from the liquid crystal panel with the light guide plate interposed therebetween. The holding member is molded of a resin material, and has positioning ribs for positioning a tablet sensor board on the holding member. A portion of the tablet sensor board that is positioned by the positioning ribs is inserted in an installation space defined between the circuit attachment plate and the holding member.

Abstract: An information processing apparatus is disclosed which occupies a minimized space when it is not used. The information processing apparatus includes a stand including a base and a support arm extending uprightly from the base, a display unit supported for pivotal motion on the support arm, and a keyboard having a plurality of operation keys provided thereon. The support arm includes an upper arm portion and a lower arm portion. The upper arm portion has an upper pivotal fulcrum at an upper end portion thereof for supporting the display unit for pivotal motion, and the lower arm portion has a lower pivotal fulcrum provided at an upper end portion thereof for supporting the upper arm portion for pivotal motion.

Abstract: In a computer unit having a keyboard and a keyboard cover, the stowing efficiency of the keyboard is improved by providing a concavity on the other surface of a keyboard opposite to one surface on which various control keys are arranged to enter various commands to receive a base that supports the display panel of the display. By inserting the base into the concavity, the keyboard can be stowed effectively using the base without using any storing member. Thus, the computer unit in which the stowing efficiency of the keyboard is improved can be accomplished. Moreover, a keyboard cover is provided for the keyboard which can be stowed effectively using the base of the display unit, so that the keyboard cover can be integrally stowed with the keyboard without a special stowing space. As a result, the keyboard cover in which the stowing efficiency is improved can be accomplished.
