  • Publication number: 20020163757
Abstract: An electronic apparatus, such as an on-vehicle navigation system, is provided. The apparatus comprises a hard disc container (2) and a contacting piece (31) for grounding. The hard disc container contains a hard disc unit (7) detachably loaded thereinto. A loading/unloading passage (21) through which the hard disc unit is loaded and unloaded is formed in the container. The contacting piece is disposed in the loading/unloading passage. When the hard disc unit is loaded into the container, the hard disc unit is made to come into contact to the contacting piece before an electrical connection between the hard disc and the hard disc container is realized. Thus, even if static electricity is charged on the hard disc unit, the static electricity is grounded steadily prior to the electrical connection, thereby no harm being given to data stored by a hard disc incorporated in the hard disc unit.

  • Patent number: 6106422
Abstract: A power transmission member is constructed by molding a resin material obtained by mixing a carbon fiber, an aromatic polyamide fiber, graphite, and talc with phenol resin. The preferred contents of the carbon fiber, the aromatic polyamide fiber, the graphite and the talc in the resin material are respectively 5 to 30% by weight, 5 to 15% by weight, 10 to 15% by weight, and 5 to 20% by weight. The phenol resin is filled with the carbon fiber and the aromatic polyamide fiber in order that the power transmission member has high strength and suitable flexibility. The phenol resin is filled with the graphite in order to suitably lower the coefficient of friction of the power transmission member to improve the wear resistance thereof. The talc is used for adjusting the frictional force of the power transmission member.

  • Patent number: 5941440
Abstract: Projected portions 17, 18, 19 are formed at three positions in the middle and on left and right ends of the front surface of a driver 13 of a staple hammer. The width of the projected portion 18 in the middle is smaller than the distance between both leg portions S.sub.3, S.sub.4 of a staple S, and the projected portion 18 is not in contact with the upper surfaces of bends S.sub.1, S.sub.2 of the staple S. Further, the distance between the projected portions 17, 19 on both left and right ends is slightly smaller than the total width of the staple S. The projected portions 17, 19 are located above the bends with radii, and are not in contact with the bends. At the time of hammering, the projected portion 18 in the middle impinges the middle portion of the top surface of the staple S, allowing both leg portions S.sub.3, S.sub.4 of the staple S to ground upon the object to be hammered so as to be expanded.
