  • Patent number: 7238955
Abstract: In a radiation image storage panel which has a phosphor layer containing energy-storing phosphor particles, the energy-storing phosphor particles is composed of a mixture of a phosphor particle group having a relatively large median diameter and a phosphor particle group having a relatively small median diameter, the former group having a median diameter of 4 to 30 ?m, the latter group having a median diameter of 1 to 8 ?m, and the mixture having a particle size frequency distribution that satisfies the condition of: (x+y)/5>z in which x is a size frequency (%) at the peak in a larger range of the size frequency distribution curve, y is a size frequency (%) at the peak in a smaller range, and z is the lowest size frequency (%) in the range between the two peaks.

  • Patent number: 7211164
Abstract: In a method and apparatus for manufacturing ceramic green sheets, first and second long ceramic green sheets are selectively drawn out by means of first and second draw-out rollers into a commonly used punching station. In the punching station, predetermined areas of the long ceramic green sheets are punched, so that ceramic green sheet cut pieces having predetermined sizes are formed. A cut piece held by a punching head is conveyed to a lamination station adjacent to the punching station, where lamination and press-bonding are carried out.

  • Publication number: 20060060792
Abstract: There is provided a radiographic image conversion panel having a substrate made of a metal or an alloy, an oxide layer formed on the substrate by a vapor deposition technique such as sputtering, ion plating or ion beam assisted deposition, and a phosphor layer formed on the oxide layer by the vapor deposition technique. A method of manufacturing the radiographic image conversion panel is also provided. The radiographic image conversion panel is capable of suppressing for a long time corrosion of the surface of the substrate due to a reaction between a stimulable phosphor and the substrate through moisture and also capable of providing a radiographic image without any deterioration of the characteristics.
