  • Publication number: 20130188547
Abstract: In a mobile communication system, a service area is constituted of a plurality of cells each disposing a base station, and offers a multicast service to a mobile station apparatus in the service area, by transmitting multicast data to the base stations in the service area when a session initiation request includes a dynamic service area constitution identifier. A cell disposed a base station apparatus in which the mobile station apparatus exists as well as cells surrounding the concerned cell is determined as a dynamic service area and a session start request is transmitted to the base stations included in the service area. As a result, multicast data will be delivered to the base stations around which a mobile terminal exists, thus providing a mobile communication system which can perform efficient communication without using waste resources.

  • Publication number: 20130034057
Abstract: When a connecting destination base station apparatus included in a message including an identifier of a base station apparatus serving as a connecting destination of a mobile station apparatus is different from a connecting source base station apparatus stored in an EPS bearer context, rearrangement of local PDN connection is requested to an L-PGW unit of the connecting destination base station apparatus and local PDN connection is deleted. After establishment of a wireless bearer is completed between the mobile station apparatus and the connecting destination base station apparatus, the connecting destination base station apparatus is instructed to start proxy transmission of neighbor advertisement instead of the mobile station apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20130016645
Abstract: In a mobile communication system, in which a service area is constituted of a plurality of cells each disposing a base station, and which offers a multicast service to a mobile station apparatus existing in the service area, by transmitting multicast data from a multicast service delivering apparatus to the base stations in the service area, when a session initiation request received from the multicast service delivering apparatus includes a dynamic service area constitution identifier, a cell disposing a base station apparatus in which the mobile station apparatus exists is determined as a dynamic service area and a session start request is transmitted to the base station included in the service area. As a result, multicast data will be delivered limitedly to the base stations under which a mobile terminal exists, whereby it is possible to provide a mobile communication system which can perform efficient communication without using waste resources.

  • Publication number: 20120218975
Abstract: A control station apparatus is set with a path for performing communication of a plurality of flows with a mobile station apparatus through a transfer path of a first access network. When receiving a position register request for performing communication via a transfer path of a second access network, from the mobile station apparatus, the control station apparatus continues communication with the mobile station apparatus through the first access network when it has been determined that the communication requested by the position register request includes a flow for which handover of the transfer path is prohibited. Accordingly, a control station apparatus is provided that can perform handover control such as to enable communication of a connection including a specific flow via one of the access networks while performing communication of a connection that does not include any specific flow without limitation via the other access network.

  • Publication number: 20120218897
Abstract: A control station apparatus is set with a path for performing communication of a plurality of flows with a mobile station apparatus by way of a transfer path of a first access network. When receiving a position register request for performing communication via a transfer path of a second access network, from the mobile station apparatus, the control station apparatus, in response to the position register request, out of flows included in requested communication, switches the transfer path of a flow that is determined to be permitted to hand over the transfer path, and continues the communication via the first access network, for a flow that is determined not to be permitted to hand over the transfer path.

  • Publication number: 20120113937
Abstract: A system includes a subscription storage that stores a group identifier for identifying a home base station 60 and the service available for a UE 70 as subscription information, in correspondence with a mobile terminal identifier for identifying UE 70; a positional information update request receiver for receiving a positional information update request of UE 70 from an MME 40; and a positional information response transmitter that extracts the available service corresponding to the mobile terminal included in the positional information update request, from the subscription storage and transmits a positional information update response included with the extracted service to MME 40.

  • Publication number: 20120099578
Abstract: A system includes a subscription storage that stores an APN for identifying a home base station and the service class available for a UE as subscription information, in correspondence with a mobile terminal identifier for identifying UE; a positional information update request receiver for receiving a positional information update request of UE 70 from an MME; and a positional information response transmitter that extracts the available service class included in the positional information update request, from the subscription storage and transmits a positional information update response included with the extracted service class to MME. With this configuration, it is possible to provide a mobile communication system in which, for a plurality of services of a home base station, the owner of a home base station can set the access right for each of the services, and communication data is transferred based on the set access right.

  • Publication number: 20120020318
Abstract: A core network includes a PDN connection holding unit that associates and stores information regarding PDN connection with information indicating an address block configured as a set of a plurality of addresses identifying a plurality of the information terminal devices. Therefore, it is possible to suppress an increase in the processing load and a limitation of providable services, even in the case in which an ad-hoc network is formed between a mobile terminal device and a plurality of terminal equipments and a PDN connection is made by the terminal equipments using the mobile terminal device as an MT.

  • Publication number: 20110317560
Abstract: A first access network in which a bearer transfer path that guarantees a predetermined QoS has been established and a second access network in which a transfer path which is different from that in the first access network has been established are provided, and PCRF 60 transmits to a mobile station an uplink traffic switching request including information of a flow of which the access system type is switched, out of flows in which a UE 10 performs communication, and information of an access system type to be a switching destination of the flow, and the UE 10, upon receiving the uplink traffic switching request, switches a transfer path of the flow included in the uplink traffic switching request to that of the access system type.

  • Publication number: 20110255409
Abstract: A PGW 20 which is set with a path for performing communication of a plurality of flows with a UE 10 connectable to, an access network A in which a bearer transfer path that guarantees a predetermined QoS has been established, and an access network B in which a transfer path different from access network A has been established, by way of the transfer path of access network A, receives a specific bearer switching request including information on a flow from UE 10, and, switches the communication path of the flow included in the specific bearer switching request, from access network A to access network B. This arrangement makes it possible to provide the control station or the like that can perform a handover of a specific flow selected from the plurality of flows to a different transfer path when the mobile station is handed over.

  • Publication number: 20110206013
Abstract: When performing a handover from an access network B to an access network A, a UE 10 transmits an attach request to an MME 30. MME 30 establishes a bearer on a first access network based on the attach request. UE 10 requests MME 30 to establish a specific bearer that guarantees the necessary QoS for a flow. MME 30 receives the request for establishment of a specific bearer, establishes a specific bearer that guarantee the QoS for the flow and sets up a path for performing communication of the flow between UE 10 and a PGW 20. This enables the mobile station to select a specific flow among a plurality of flows and be directly handed over to the bearer communication path when the mobile station performs a handover, thus providing a mobile communication system and the like that can realize a handover while maintaining communication quality.
