  • Publication number: 20230393139
Abstract: Provided is a target substance detection method that includes: forming a complex in a first reaction field, by sandwiching a target substance between a first trapping substance immobilized on a solid phase and a second trapping substance labeled with a labeling substance; separating a moiety that includes the labeling substance from the complex; moving the moiety to a second reaction field; and detecting the target substance by a signal based on the labeling substance in the second reaction field. As a result of this technology, a target substance in a sample can be detected with greater sensitivity and at a lower cost than when using conventional technology.

  • Publication number: 20180024749
Abstract: An information processing apparatus includes: a first calculator and a second calculator being coupled to each other via a bus, and each making a memory access, designating a logical address; a first memory being coupled to the first calculator; and a second memory being coupled to the second calculator and being accessed from the first calculator via the bus, wherein the first memory determines, based on a time from issue of a request for the memory access to response to the request, whether a memory having a physical address associated with the logical address is the first memory or the second memory. With this configuration, it is possible to specify whether a memory being accessed using a logical address is a local memory or a remote memory.

  • Patent number: 7959199
Abstract: A multi-joint finger unit (1) has first and second joint sections (3, 5) constructed by using bevel gears. In each joint section (3, 5), the section where a driving bevel gear (10, 44) and a driven bevel gear (14, 56) mesh with each other and also a bearing section of a joint shaft (15, 57) are assembled in a tubular housing (13, 51) whose forward end is closed. Rear end openings (13A, 52) of the tubular housings (13, 51) are closed by a tubular housing (7) at a finger root and a tubular housing (41) at a finger body section. The section where the gears of the joint sections (3, 5) mesh and the bearing section are substantially sealed, so that a foreign matter is prevented from entering from the outside to these sections and lubricant does not leaks from these sections. The multi-joint finger unit is suitable for use in place where thick powder dust is present and in a clean room.

  • Patent number: 7823475
Abstract: A sealed worm gear type finger joint unit for a robot hand has a circular opening in a gear box case of the unit, and the opening is closed by a rubber bush. When the rubber bush is removed, a shaft end face of a worm shaft section is exposed from the circular opening, and this makes a tool engagement section formed on the shaft end face is accessible from the outside. A tool for turning the worm shaft section is fitted in the tool engagement section, and the worm shaft section can be easily turned by the tool. Turning the worm shaft section turns a worm, turning a worm wheel meshing with the worm, and this turns the joint shaft. As a result, a swing arm connected to shaft end sections of the joint shaft can be moved to a predetermined position. In the finger joint unit, the joint shaft can be easily manually turned.

  • Patent number: 5260588
Abstract: The present invention, which is directed to a light-emitting diode array for use as the light source in optical printers and other such applications, provides improved optical efficiency and a more uniform distribution of emission intensity. The light-emitting diodes are formed as reverse mesas with a mirrored sloping surface that reflects light in the direction of the light emitting surface of the diode. This improves the emission efficiency of each diode. In addition, this also increases the light output from the edge portions of light-emitting surfaces of the diodes so as to produce a more uniform distribution of light output from the light-emitting diodes.

  • Patent number: 5162878
Abstract: A light-emitting diode array having improved optical output efficiency and uniformity without loss of reliability or reproducibility is described. The array is formed of an n-type conductivity GaAs buffer layer on an n-type conductivity GaAs substrate, followed by 25-pair n-type conductivity Al.sub.y Ga.sub.1-y As/AlAs semiconductor multilayer mirror, a p-type conductivity Al.sub.x Ga.sub.1-x As active layer, and a p++ type conductivity GaAs contact layer. The surface of the emission region is a total reflection prevention surface with a sawtooth-shaped projection configuration. This provides a large decrease in total reflection loss of light from the emission layer, and also enables light propagating in the opposite direction to the output surface to be efficiently outputed.
