  • Publication number: 20050195281
Abstract: An image correction section in an image processing section performs a resolution-enhancing process for an input R signal from a RED photodiode array 9R1, an input G signal from a GREEN photodiode array 9G1 and an input B signal from a BLUE photodiode array 9B1, using an input K signal from a BLACK photodiode array 9K1. The image correction section outputs four signals: an Rc1 signal, a Gc1 signal and a Bc1 signal, which are subjected to the resolution-enhancing process, and the K signal that is used for the resolution-enhancing process.

  • Publication number: 20040233476
Abstract: An image processing apparatus reads an original by R, G and B sensors and a monochromatic sensor, and includes Log conversion means for subjecting signals produced by the reading to Log conversion. When two-color printing is performed, Log conversion parameters are individually set for one of signals produced by the reading of the R, G and B sensors and for a signal produced by the reading of the monochromatic sensor.

  • Publication number: 20040141205
Abstract: After an image compressed by a compressing portion is stored in a page memory, it is decoded by a decoding portion. A sub-scanning enlargement portion carries out sub-scanning direction enlargement processing upon the image decoded by the decoding portion and a printer prints out the enlarged image. At this time, the printer generates a printer synchronous signal each time when it scans an image formation object surface. A control portion provides the page memory, the decoding portion and the magnification changing portion with control signals so as to synchronize reading out of the image from the page memory, the decoding of the decoding portion and enlargement processing of the sub-scanning enlargement portion.

  • Publication number: 20030112475
Abstract: First and second reading modules read first and second signals in the main scanning direction of the image of a document. The scanning module includes a carriage for relatively moving the first and second reading modules and the image of the document in a sub-scanning direction to make the modules scan the image. A scanning-control-condition selecting module selects scanning control conditions of the scanning module in accordance with a plurality of read magnifications preset as read magnifications of the document by the first and second reading modules. A first setting module sets the scanning control conditions to a plurality of control conditions in accordance with the read magnification of the first reading module. A second setting module sets the scanning control conditions to a plurality of control conditions in accordance with the read magnification of the second reading module.
