  • Publication number: 20240033681
Abstract: A carbon dioxide recovery system includes a main controller and unit controllers. The main controller provides guidelines to the unit controllers for a plurality of recovery units. The guideline serves as a guideline for controlling operations of components including an electrochemical cell, a channel on/off valve, a pump, and a channel switching valve. Each one of the unit controllers determines a control content for each one of components based on the guideline.

  • Publication number: 20240017211
Abstract: A carbon dioxide recovery system capable of effectively suppressing deterioration of the carbon dioxide adsorption performance of an electrochemical cell is provided. The carbon dioxide recovery system includes a control unit which is configured to perform as an information acquisition unit. The information acquisition unit acquires information about a substance contained in the atmosphere that may adhere to an electrochemical cell. Then, the control device is configured to switch between execution and non-execution of at least carbon dioxide recovery control based on the information acquired by the information acquisition unit.

  • Publication number: 20240001294
Abstract: In an adsorption mode, a control device applies an adsorption potential between a working electrode and a counter electrode only during an adsorption time. The adsorption time corresponds to a target carbon dioxide adsorption amount, which an adsorbent can adsorb. In a desorption mode, the control device applies a desorption potential only during a recovery time corresponding to a recovery amount. At this time, the control device acquires an optimum desorption time which is a desorption time associated with a carbon dioxide desorption amount equivalent to a target carbon dioxide recovery amount RVCO2 in a desorption amount change map data. Then, the control device applies the desorption potential only during the optimum desorption time in the desorption mode.

  • Publication number: 20230338894
Abstract: In a carbon dioxide recovery system. an electrochemical cell of a recovery device includes a working electrode having an adsorbent capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide, and a counter electrode paired with the working electrode. A sensor detects a recovery amount that is an amount of carbon dioxide recovered in the recovery device and sent to a carbon dioxide recovery tank. A controller applies a first potential between the electrodes only for an adsorption time period in an adsorption mode such that the adsorbent adsorbs carbon dioxide. The adsorption time period corresponds to a target adsorption amount that is an amount of carbon dioxide that can be adsorbed by the adsorbent. The controller applies a second potential between the electrodes in a recovery mode such that the adsorbed carbon dioxide is desorbed. The controller acquires the target adsorption amount as a correlation value correlated with the detected recovery amount.

  • Publication number: 20230338893
Abstract: In a carbon dioxide recovery system. an electrochemical cell of a recovery device includes a working electrode having an adsorbent capable of adsorbing carbon dioxide, and a counter electrode. A sensor detects a recovery amount of carbon dioxide recovered and sent to a carbon dioxide recovery tank. A controller applies a first potential between the electrodes only for a time period in an adsorption mode. The time period corresponds to a target amount of carbon dioxide that can be adsorbed by the adsorbent. A storage unit stores multiple adsorption-amount change data indicating association between the target amount and the time period. The controller acquires the target amount correlated with the detected recovery amount, acquires the time period by using the acquired target amount, and selects data from among the multiple adsorption-amount change data according to the recovery amount as in-use data for acquisition of the time period.

  • Patent number: 11788337
Abstract: An opening-closing member control device includes a motor that opens and closes an opening-closing member of a vehicle, and a control unit configured to stop the motor when determining that a foreign object has been entrapped by the opening-closing member and reverse the motor when a delay time elapses after stopping the motor. When the control unit determines that entrapment has occurred upon operation of a remote operation switch that is separated from the vehicle, the control unit reverses the motor after the delay time that is shorter than when determining that entrapment has occurred upon operation of a vehicle operation switch that is arranged in the vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20220341240
Abstract: An opening-closing member controller includes a control unit that executes an initialization process to store at least a fully closed position of an opening-closing member. In the initialization process, the control unit closes the opening-closing member, executes entrapment reversing control one or more times when entrapment is detected to open the opening-closing member, and closes the opening-closing member after the entrapment reversing control to store a position where the opening-closing member locks as the fully closed position.

  • Patent number: 10815714
Abstract: An opening/closing member driving device includes a motor that opens and closes an opening/closing member and a controller configured to perform an abnormality determination process and a masking process. The abnormality determination process determines occurrence of a foreign object being entrapped or caught by comparing driving information corresponding to a driving status of the motor to a predetermined threshold value. The masking process invalidates the abnormality determination process over a predetermined masking period when the motor is activated. The controller includes a correction unit. The correction unit corrects at least one of the masking period or the threshold value when the motor is activated in a direction opposite to that of a preceding operation in a state in which the opening/closing member is in a high-load range.

  • Patent number: 10060171
Abstract: In a power window apparatus, when a controller determines that a captured foreign object, which is captured between a window glass and a window frame of a door, is present, the controller executes an interrupting process that interrupts a current operation of a drive mechanism. The controller does not determine whether the captured foreign object is present in an initial mask period that is a time period from a time point of starting rotation of the electric motor to a time point, at which a rotational speed of the electric motor reaches a stable state. The initial mask period is variable based on an operational load of the electric motor.
