    Abstract: An electronic control unit includes a base substrate, an electronic device, and a positioning member. The base substrate has a first connector. The electronic device is mounted on the base substrate substantially orthogonal to the base substrate. The electronic device includes a wiring board and a second connector disposed on the wiring board to be electrically connected to the first connector. The positioning member is disposed between the base substrate and the electronic device and positions the first connector and the second connector relative to each other. The positioning member includes a first protrusion and a second protrusion. The first protrusion is inserted into a first positioning hole of the base substrate to position the positioning member with respect to the base substrate. The second protrusion is inserted into a second positioning hole of the wiring board to position the positioning member with respect to the wiring board.

A movable member is disposed in the rack and holds a cooling plate to be movable in the thickness direction. The guide member includes a guide groove to receive a protrusion of the movable member. The guide member has an inclined portion, as a part of the guide groove, inclined relative to the installation direction and a holding portion at an end in the installation direction. A movable member is disposed in the rack and holds a cooling plate to be movable in the thickness direction. A guide member includes a guide groove and a holding portion at an end of the guide groove. The movable member has a protrusion protruding toward the electronic device to be received in the guide groove. In a mounting state in which the electronic device is mounted to the rack, the protrusion is held by the holding portion and the electronic device is placed in a placement position to face the cooling plate. The electronic control unit includes an application part constantly applying a stress to the movable member in a direction to separate the electronic device and the cooling plate.
