  • Publication number: 20050098342
Abstract: [Problems to be solved]A communication cable and a communication wire protecting tube, which can be easily bent to a predetermined bend radius by a low force but which requires such a higher force for the bend of a smaller diameter that it may be hard to bend. [Means for solving the Problems]The communication cable 10,10A comprises a communication wire 11,11A and an armor 13A including at least two synthetic resin layers, and protects the communication wire 11,11A in a loose state. The communication wire protecting tube comprises at least two synthetic resin layers, and inserts the communication wire 11,11A in a loose state. The most hard resin layer 13a, 13aA of the armor 13,13A has a crosswise or spiral annular groove 14 or cut portion 14A continuous in the longitudinal direction to reach the radially inner face, and the outermost layer of the armor 13,13A is formed of a protective layer 13b,13bA made of a softer resin than the hard resin layer 13a, 13aA.

  • Publication number: 20050059943
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for determining illustrations for a diaper to be worn, for example, by an infant. With the present invention's illustration determination method, for a diaper, comprising a main body, fitted onto the body of an infant, and an illustration displaying part, provided on the main body for displaying an illustration, the abovementioned illustration is determined based on the age in months of the infant. The illustration can arouse interest of an infant definitely since the object of interest of an infant depends on his/her age in months. An infant can thus be made to calm down during diaper exchange and the labor of diaper exchange can be alleviated.

  • Publication number: 20050027272
Abstract: The present invention relates to a disposable diaper with one or more illustrations. The disposable diaper is constituted of such illustrations that the illustrations can be recognized clearly from outside if viewed in one direction even when the disposable diaper is in a folded state after being taken out from a package by a diaper exchanger. Thus, the illustrations may be fully utilized.

  • Publication number: 20050027436
Abstract: A traffic information notification system for use by a vehicle acquires vehicle travel history data, automatically registers, on the basis of the acquired travel history data, at least one route along which the vehicle usually travels, a time at which the vehicle travels along each of the at least one routes, and traffic information associated with each of the at least one routes. The traffic information system compares current traffic information along a registered route to be traveled provided by a traffic information system with the automatically registered traffic information for that registered route to be traveled, and provides a notification, when the current traffic information is substantially different from the automatically registered traffic information, of the substantially different current traffic information.

  • Publication number: 20050027273
Abstract: The present invention relates to a diaper worn by an infant. The diaper comprises a main body, for being fitted onto a body of an infant, and a plurality of illustration displaying parts, provided on the main body, for displaying illustrations that differ from each other, wherein the abovementioned illustrations are mutually relevant or integrated as a whole in terms of shape, pattern, color, concept, or combination thereof. With the present invention, a diaper exchanger can show different illustrations in order to an infant to arouse interest of the infant definitely in the changes of the illustrations. The labor of the diaper exchanger in the diaper exchanging process can thus be alleviated.

  • Publication number: 20040146255
Abstract: A plurality of optical fibers are arranged in parallel and peripheries of the plurality of these optical fibers are integrally formed using a sheath. Here, the sheath is formed over the entire length of optical fiber ribbons and a flat portion of the sheath is formed substantially parallel to a common tangent of the neighboring optical fibers. A maximum value of a thickness of the optical fiber ribbons is set to a value which is larger than an outer diameter of the optical fibers by 40 &mgr;m or less. Due to such a constitution, it is possible to easily branch the optical fibers from the integrally formed optical fiber ribbons.

  • Patent number: 6768845
Abstract: An optical cable has a plurality of one-groove spacers 3 which are twisted in one direction around a central member 1. Anti-tensile elements 2 are arranged in the central portion of the central member 1. Each one-groove spacer having a single groove which is linear lengthwise and substantially square in cross section and holding a stack of a plurality of optical fiber ribbons 4. The inner width and the height of the side walls of the groove of the one-groove spacer are set greater than the diagonal length of the stack. Therefore, the transmission loss becomes reducible because the contact portions of the optical fiber ribbons with respect to the side walls of the grooves vary in the longitudinal direction, thus preventing a specific number of optical fibers from being continuously subjected to edgewise pressure.

  • Publication number: 20040034464
Abstract: From a mobile communication device (12), road information (RI) about either a preliminarily registered point or an arbitrary point on a route from a present position to a destination is transmitted to and received in a network navigation center (10) via a cellular phone base station (14) and a general telephone network (16). Based on that road information RI, the network navigation center (10) retrieves traffic information (TI) about the registered point or the arbitrary point on the route, and then transmits the retrieved traffic information (TI) to the mobile communication device (12) via the general telephone network (16) and the cellular phone base station (14). The traffic information (TI) is comprised of traffic congestion area data about the registered point or the arbitrary point on the route, which displayed on a display (43) in the mobile communication device (12); whereby the user is informed of future traffic information like traffic congestion.

  • Patent number: 6655544
Abstract: A container with a lid (10) comprises a container body (11), a lid (23) supported for turning on the container body (11) and a rubber plate (950) provided between the container body (11) and the lid (23). The lid (23) is provided with a stopping projection (32)that engages a catching projection 33 formed in an operating member (55) provided on the container body (11). A slider (60) is supported so as to be slidable on the container body (11). A recess (51) is formed at the lower end of the operating member (55) and a protrusion (61) is formed on the slider (60). In a state where the protrusion (61) of the slider (60) and the recess (51) of the operating member (55) are dislocated from each other, the operating member (55)is restrained from downward movement. Thus the mischievous opening of the lid (23) by children can be prevented.
