    Abstract: A steering apparatus includes: a steering shaft coupled to a center of a steering wheel and movable in a front-rear direction of a vehicle; a steering shaft cover covering the steering shaft and allowing the steering shaft to be movable therein; and a protector attached to the steering shaft cover and allowing a part of a wire harness to be inserted and accommodated therein, the wire harness being a plurality of electric wires bundled and routed along the steering shaft. The wire harness positioned in the protector is routed in a state where the plurality of electric wires are unbundled and scattered.
