  • Patent number: 7823964
Abstract: A second cross member, which extends in the lateral direction of a vehicle, is provided between one of floor side members and one of tunnel under reinforcements below a front floor panel. The bottom wall of the second cross member is arch-shaped, and a space is provided under the bottom wall. Due to the arch-shaped bottom wall, the second cross member deforms upward upon side collision of the vehicle, whereby the components arranged in the space are not damaged.

  • Publication number: 20080256450
Abstract: In an information presenting apparatus, information associated with each of one or more motion images stored in a storage apparatus is displayed at a location corresponding to a file production time in the form of a calendar view. A plurality of frames of representative images are extracted from each motion image in accordance with a specified frame extraction method. Thumbnail images of the respective extracted representative images are produced, and each thumbnail image is related to a playback position in the motion image. The resultant thumbnail images are managed as a set of motion image thumbnail images in accordance with a production time of the motion image. Information associated with each motion image is displayed at a location corresponding to the production time of the motion image in the form of the calendar view. Thumbnail images associated with each motion image are displayed in an expanded form in the order of time.

  • Patent number: 7173630
Abstract: An improved convenience is attained in adding a character or figure to a picture with an improved convenience as follows: When a mode for addition of a character to a picture display area is selected, an attribute processor (101) outputs a plurality of sample characters whose attributes are different from each other, a display control unit (102) displays the plurality of sample characters different in attribute from each other in descending order starting with the most frequently used one in the form of a list in the sample character display area. When a predetermined sample character is selected using a touch pad (6) and a position where a character is actually added in the picture display area is selected, it becomes possible to actually add a character on the basis of the attribute of the selected sample character first at the selected position, and the attribute processor (101) provides such a control as to add a character entered from a keyboard (5) on the basis of the attribute of the sample character.

  • Patent number: 7103842
Abstract: Realizing a presentation system which can present picture data and voice data in a simplified manner after shooting and picking up pictures by a digital still camera, etc. and recording voices by a voice recorder, etc. Firstly, when the presentation system executes the program, a folder will be selected to specify a recording area in the personal computer 10 (step 1). After obtaining temporal information of all picture data and voice data in the folder, the presentation system performs relating operation for pages of slides so that the picture data and the voice data correspond to the slides at the time of data presentation (step 2). Next, the presentation system makes the user select whether information processing for data will be performed or not (step 3).
