    Abstract: An image processing apparatus includes: a generation unit that converts at least one of brightness and a hue of an image at a position, at which a marker is drawn, to generate an conversion image; and an output unit that outputs the conversion image to a projection module, wherein the generation unit generates the conversion image so that a difference between at least one of the brightness and the hue of the image at the position at which the marker is drawn and at least one of brightness and a hue of the conversion image at the position at which the marker is drawn becomes larger in a case where another image projected by another apparatus overlaps the conversion image projected onto a projection surface by the projection module than in a case where another image does not overlap the conversion image on the projection surface.
