    Abstract: One embodiment, a medical imaging diagnosis apparatus includes a gantry, a bed and a processing circuitry. The gantry acquires data. The bed supports a table top such that the table top is horizontally and vertically movable relative to a floor surface. The processing circuitry determines a lift route of the table top from an initial height to a target height to be either a first route or a second route. The first route is in which the table top is vertically lifted relative to the floor surface from the initial height to the target height. The second route is in which the table top is vertically lifted, while being horizontally moved, relative to the floor surface from the initial height to the target height.

    Abstract: One embodiment, control circuitry executes at least one of a start operation and a stop operation. For a start operation, the control circuitry accelerates a top support portion along a forward direction before moving a top when starting to move an object in a scan after positioning the top support portion at a moving start position decided based on a scan condition and accelerates the top to a set speed along the forward direction after a first predetermined time since start of acceleration control on the top support portion. For a stop operation, the control circuitry accelerates the top support portion along the forward direction when decelerating the top and stops the top after a second predetermined time since start of acceleration control on the top support portion.

    Abstract: According to one embodiment, an X-ray CT apparatus includes a gantry, a table on which an object is placed, a bed, and processing circuitry. The gantry is equipped with an X-ray source and an X-ray detector. The bed includes a moving mechanism which is configured to move the table in a horizontal direction and in a vertical direction. The processing circuitry performs a main scan and a prescan. The prescan is performed prior to the main scan. The processing circuitry calculates displacement of the table in the vertical direction and also calculates an angle of the table from the horizontal direction using data acquired in the prescan, and controls a position of the table and an angle of the gantry based on the displacement of the table and the angle of the table.
