  • Patent number: 8250978
Abstract: The invention provides a semiconductor bridge, an igniter, and a gas generator each of which satisfies a high-speed responsiveness required of, for example, an automotive side inflator. The semiconductor bridge includes a bridge part heated by being supplied with a current. The bridge part is disposed on a substrate. The bridge part includes a first layer and an ignition bridge layer. The first layer is formed on the substrate and has insulating properties. The ignition bridge layer serves as a second layer disposed on the first layer. The width of the bridge part at the first layer and the width of the bridge part at the second layer are substantially equal to each other. A space is provided around the bridge part. With this structure, the diffusion of current and heat into the substrate can be restricted to the minimum level, and the ignition time can be quickened as an ignition characteristic. Each of the igniter and the gas generator includes the semiconductor bridge.

  • Publication number: 20110194675
Abstract: An image diagnostic apparatus including a scan unit to repeatedly scan a subject to repeatedly acquire acquisition data related to the subject, a generation unit to generate medical images related to the subject based on the acquired acquisition data, a monitoring unit to monitor a change in the medical images based on a specified pixel value band having an upper limit and a lower limit, a controller unit to control timing of a predetermined action of the scan unit based on of the change in the medical images monitored by the monitor unit, wherein the predetermined action of the scan unit is at least one of changing a scan condition, stopping a scan, and outputting guidance to the subject.

  • Patent number: 5868419
Abstract: An air bag door structure is integrally backed with a door reinforcement member in the rear of an air bag door opening portion of an instrument panel. A hinge side break portion of is provided at the door rotation axis side of the instrument panel, and a hinge side mount portion for mounting an air bag container is formed at a hinge portion of the door reinforcement member. An instrument panel mount portion for mounting the air bag container is integrally formed along the outside of an opening side break portion of the instrument panel. Accordingly, stress forces created by the deployment of the air bag are concentrated at the break portions.
