    Abstract: A card insertion part may include a base plate secured to a card reader main body; a substrate that is disposed on an opposite side of the card reader main body with respect to the base plate and including a light source installed on a surface thereof on an opposite side of the base plate; a cover with optical transparency that spreads over the substrate on an opposite side of the base plate; an insulating member that is disposed between the substrate and the base plate; and a flexible wiring member connected to the substrate. The substrate may include an opening through which the card is passed, and a ground wiring pattern formed on an area surrounding the opening. The ground wiring pattern may be electrically connected to the card reader main body via the flexible wiring member.
