  • Patent number: 6784608
Abstract: A light-absorptive antireflection film comprising a light-absorptive film formed on a glass substrate containing pigment microparticles and having a physical thickness of not less than 10 nm and an antireflection multilayer film attenuating reflected light of incident light by interference of light, wherein at least one layer of the antireflection multilayer film is an electroconductive thin film having a surface resistance of not more than 1000 &OHgr;/□, and a display device including the same and methods of producing them.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 22, 2000
Date of Patent: August 31, 2004
    Assignee: Sony Corporation
Inventors: Soya Araki, Takao Sumida, Masataka Yamashita, Hiroko Funahashi
  • Publication number: 20020018887
Abstract: A light absorption/anti-reflection material member of the present invention comprises a light absorption film that is formed on a base member and contains pigment fine particles and high-refractive-index fine particles and an anti-reflection multi-layer film that is formed on the light absorption film as having a multi-layer structure and at least one layer of that consists of an electrically conductive thin film so as to attenuate, due to optical interference, a reflected light outgoing following the impingement of a relevant incident light. Also, a display apparatus is constructed wherein the light absorption/anti-reflection material member is formed as an anti-reflection film on the outer surface of the panel thereof.

  • Patent number: 5382871
Abstract: A color selecting structure for a TRINITRON cathode-ray tube, in which color phosphor stripes are provided and a single electron gun emits three beams, capable of minimizing vertical fringes that deteriorate the quality of a picture displayed on the screen and of attenuating the vibration of a FAG (framing aperture grille plate), includes a thin plate having a plurality of tape-shaped grid (2a) elements and apertures (2a), and fine wires (3) extended across the surface of the aperture grille plate so as to apply a pressure in the range of 6.73.times.10.sup.-6 lbf., 2.24.times.10.sup.-5 lbf. to each grid element (2a).
