  • Patent number: 7893008
Abstract: The present invention relates to an instrument, a method and a kit for detecting a microorganism contaminating a subject test sample, which enables one to quickly and accurately identify the microorganism with an easy operation. The instrument for detecting a microorganism according to the present invention relates to a microarray type instrument in which oligonucleotides prepared based on nucleotide sequences specific to the species and genus to which the subject microorganism belongs have been immobilized onto a surface of a substrate. Based on the presence or absence of hybridization of the probes prepared from the test sample with the oligonucleotides immobilized onto the surface of the substrate, the present invention makes it possible to detect and/or identify the microorganism in the test sample easily, quickly and accurately.

Date of Patent: February 22, 2011
    Assignee: Suntory Holdings Limited
Inventors: Yukiko Kodama, Kazushige Hatanaka, Koichi Tanaka, Hiroko Nakagawa, Shogo Moriya, Kaoru Osano
  • Patent number: 7795005
Abstract: A micro array instrument is used in which an oligonucleotide based on a species- or genus-specific nucleotide sequence of subject bacteria is immobilized on a surface of a substrate. By confirming whether the oligonucleotide immobilized on the substrate has hybridized with a probe prepared from a test sample, bacteria contained in the test sample can be detected and identified easily, quickly, and accurately.

  • Publication number: 20050044049
Abstract: When digital contents sold to a user become useless to the user, the digital contents and the license of the digital contents are collected or purchased from the user so that a privilege such as discount sale of other digital contents or addition of discount points is granted to the user having the license.

  • Publication number: 20050033654
Abstract: If a commodity desired to purchase is selected in a purchaser terminal, a list of users (information providers) having a purchase history of the commodity at a shopping site is displayed. The purchaser terminal exchanges messages in real time with an information terminal of an information provider selected from the list, and obtains information concerning the commodity (information provision). In the case where the purchaser purchases the commodity, its commodity ID and a user ID of the information provider are associated with each other and stored in a shopping site operation apparatus. After the purchase of the commodity, a comment and/or evaluation concerning the information provision are input. On the basis of the comment and/or evaluation, privilege is granted to the information provider. The comment and/or evaluation are reflected in information of the information providers.
