Abstract: A coin stacking tube device to be incorporated in a coin wrapping apparatus comprises an outer casing, a plurality of blades within the outer casing, an operative member to set the tube device selectively, for a desired denomination of coins, and a spring member urging the blades inwardly. Each of the blades is loosely supported by the outer casing to be rotatable around one axis and by the operative member to be rotatable around another axis.

Abstract: In a coin packaging machine, a coin stacking cylinder is formed with positive terminal boards, negative terminal boards, and insulating boards which extend in the axial direction of the cylinder in such a manner that one insulating board is interposed for every pair of positive and negative terminal boards. These boards are movably supported so as to change the inside diameter of the cylinder according to the outside diameter of coins to be packaged.

Abstract: A compact wrapping paper storing device capable of accommodating a variety of rolls of wrapping paper has a rotary body on which a plurality of wrapping paper placing beds are radially disposed, the placing beds holding thereon respective rolls of wrapping paper in an upright attitude around wrapping paper roll supporting spindles so positioned according to the heights of the rolls of wrapping paper that the outer upper edge portions of the rolls placed on the beds lie within one and the same circle. Placing angles of the placing beds are unequally formed in a manner such that the lower surface of each adjacently preceding bed is positioned as close as possible to the inner upper edge portion of the roll placed on the succeeding bed. The device further has a cutting device adapted to cut the wrapping paper by utilization of tension produced in the wrapping paper.

Abstract: When a selected loading platform bearing a roll of wrapping paper of a width corresponding to stack of a selected kind of coins to be wrapped is brought into a paper feeding station in a coin wrapping machine, a detection member is actuated in conformance with that paper width thereby to adjustably set the operational position of at least one of two crimping hooks in a device for fold crimping the outwardly projecting lateral edges of the paper after it has been wrapped around the coin stack.

Abstract: In a coin packaging apparatus of the type comprising a stacking cylinder for stacking a prescribed number of coins of the same denomination, a cutter blade for severing a wrapper strip as the same is unwound from its roll, wrapping rolls for winding the severed piece of wrapper strip around the circumference of the stack of coins, and a pair of crimping hooks for crimping the opposite marginal edges of the wrapper strip over both ends of the coin stack, several wrapper rolls of different widths are used interchangeably in accordance with the denomination of coins to be packaged, and each time a new wrapper roll is installed in position on the apparatus, its width is sensed by a wrapper width sensing member which correspondingly actuates a mechanism for adjustably moving one of the crimping hooks in the direction of the other hook and a mechanism for adjustably changing the position of the cutter blade in the transverse direction of the wrapper strip which will extend therepast from its roll.
