    Abstract: An endless conveyer belt is stretched between drive and idle rollers. A carriage is arranged so as to reciprocate along the endless conveyer belt. A suction box is arranged between upper and lower belt portions of the endless conveyer belt and fixed to the carriage. A stopper plate is fixed to the carriage and extends across a conveyer surface and upward from the conveyer surface. A conveyance roller pair is arranged at the upstream end of the conveyer surface. A region of the conveyer surface from a stopper plate to the upstream end u forms a sheet accumulation area. A cover sheet covers a region upstream of the suction box in the sheet accumulation area. The cover sheet is subjected to tension in the longitudinal direction by a winding-type constant force plate spring and continually tensed spaced apart from the endless conveyer belt.

    Abstract: It is a subject to provide a means of preparing highly pure vascular endothelial progenitor cells in a simple and low-cost manner. It is also a subject to provide a method for efficiently proliferating vascular endothelial progenitor cells. High-purity vascular endothelial progenitor cells are prepared by the process of differentiating pluripotent stem cells into vascular endothelial progenitor cells and purifying the vascular endothelial progenitor cells using a difference in adhesion ability between the vascular endothelial progenitor cells constituting the cell population obtained in the process and other cells.     Abstract: A honeycomb structure body has a honeycomb base body and a pair of electrodes composed of conductive ceramic layers and intermediate layers. The honeycomb base body made of porous ceramics containing SiC is comprised of a cell formation part and an outer peripheral part. The outer peripheral part covers the cell formation part. Each electrode is comprised of a conductive ceramic layer and an intermediate layer. The conductive ceramic layers containing SiC, Si and C are formed at two opposite positions on the outer peripheral part observed from a diameter direction. The intermediate layers containing SiC, Si and C are formed in the outer peripheral part at the parts which face the conductive ceramic layers. A cutting step cuts the ceramic honeycomb molded body into plural ceramic honeycomb shaped bodies of a predetermined length. A burning step burns the worked ceramic honeycomb shaped bodies to produce the ceramic honeycomb structure bodies. In the working step, a cutting tool for blanking having a cutting tooth formed at a front part thereof is relatively moved in the axis direction of the ceramic honeycomb shaped body in order to cut and remove the outer peripheral part including at lease the outer peripheral skin part.

Accordingly, fuel injection is stable with less fuel amount fluctuation in each cycle even when fuel pressure and temperature are relatively low.

    Abstract: Pressurized fuel of a common rail is introduced into a control chamber of a fuel injector. An electromagnetic valve opens or closes a fuel discharge passage of the control chamber to adjust a hydraulic pressure of the control chamber. Through a switching leak passage, bubble-containing fuel directly returns from a valve opening of the electromagnetic valve to a low-pressure return passage without passing through an armature chamber. Through a stationary leak passage, the fuel leaking from every slide portion returns to the return passage via the armature chamber. A downstream portion of the stationary leak passage opens to the upper portion of the armature chamber. A damper element is provided downstream of the electromagnetic valve in the return passage for canceling an increased fuel pressure.

An electric current is applied between the up-stream and down stream side end portions, to heat the first and second slit portions. Accordingly, a self-heat generation type catalytic converter capable of realizing both high resistance and low thermal capacity, and further ensuring a reduction in thermal conduction, and durability, and raising the temperature up to the sufficient level with less power consumption, can be provided.
