  • Patent number: 8113960
Abstract: Provided is an introducing system in which a server device introduces users of terminal devices to each other while motivating the users to join the system by presenting appropriate information to them during a wait time before they receive introduction. When a terminal device requests introduction of another terminal device during a time slot (303) shifted from a time period (304) between times ti?1 and ti by a margin time period (305), the server device assigns an introduction time ti to the terminal device. The terminal device displays the difference between the assigned introduction time and the current time on a screen as a remaining wait time and the number of terminal devices in an introduction waiting list. When the time ti comes, the server device groups terminal devices that are assigned the introduction time ti to match an introduction target, and notifies the introduction target to each terminal device.

  • Publication number: 20110157224
Abstract: The presentation device 100 is adapted to acquire image data representing a first image, and to additionally acquire overlay information that records in advance at least a placement location for a second image to be overlaid onto the first image for the purpose of masking or highlighted display of at least a portion of the first image. Once overlay information associated with image data is acquired, on the basis of the acquired overlay information, a second image is overlaid on the first image represented by this image data, and the resultant image is output. If a control input to delete the second image is received, the presentation device 100 outputs the first image after deleting the second image.

  • Publication number: 20050227767
Abstract: A unique ID 35 by which a distribution region can be identified is attached to a use-permission certificate 33 distributed in different regions. Different terminal devices send unique terminal device IDs to a data management device. Based on these IDs, the region in which the terminal device is installed is determined. IDs attached to use-permission certificates are sent by the terminal devices to the data management device through a communication network. Based on these IDs, the distribution regions of the use-permission certificates are determined. If the determined terminal device installation region and the use-permission certificate distribution region match, the use of data by the terminal device is allowed.

  • Patent number: 6195131
Abstract: In a method of generating an enlarged image signal by the use of a field memory, an image signal enlargement processing cycle constituted by n-th to (n+5)-th fields is repeated so that each one field of image signals read in the order of the n-th to (n+5)-th is sequentially processed by a signal processing circuit into video image signals. The signals are supplied by interlaced scanning to a video image reproducer such as an external television or video projector so that an image is displayed on a display screen in the order of an odd-line field and an even-line field. An area to be enlarged is sequentially written into an odd-line block and an even-line block of a field memory and can continuously be moved on the basis of a designation signal from a microcomputer, so that an enlarged image can be scrolled on the display screen.
