  • Patent number: 5093712
Abstract: A semiconductor device sealed with resin is disclosed. This semiconductor device comprises a semiconductor element, a lead, and a wire electrically connecting said semiconductor element and said lead. The semiconductor element, the wire, and a portion of the lead are sealed with sealing resin. Calcium hydroxide is added into the sealing resin to serve as a corrosion inhibitor. In the semiconductor device sealed with resin, corrosion of the copper wire can thus be suppressed in high temperature environments.

  • Patent number: 4917806
Abstract: Water is allowed to flow in parallel into a mixed bed in which an anion exchange resin and a cation exchange resin are disposed in a mixed state and into a single bed in which an anion exchange resin or a cation exchange resin is disposed. As the proportion of the flow rates of water introduced into the two beds is adjusted, the pH and electrical conductivity of water is controlled. Control is effected in such a manner that the pH and electrical conductivity of water are maintained at appropriate levels without using any chemicals.

  • Patent number: 4344778
Abstract: A water producing apparatus comprises means for adsorbing a moisture in the ambient air in an adsorbent for adsorption or absorption; means for desorbing the water as a steam by heating the adsorbent; means for evaporating a low quality water with a latent heat in the condensation of the desorbed steam; and means for condensing the steam obtained from the low quality water into the liquid water, whereby the water productivity is remarkably improved.

  • Patent number: 4313312
Abstract: A water producing-air conditioning system comprises a water producing apparatus which adsorbs moisture in the ambient air on an adsorbent or absorbent and evaporates water adsorbed on the adsorbent or absorbent by heating it and condenses steam to obtain water;a heat-exchanger which heat-exchange the ambient air with a hot dry air discharged from said water producing apparatus during adsorbing moisture on the adsorbent or absorbent; andan evaporation-cooling apparatus for forming a cold wet air by evaporating water and cooling it by contacting water with a dry air at the ambient temperature passed through said heat-exchanger.The hot air heated by said heat-exchanger or the cold air obtained from said evaporation-cooling apparatus is utilized for the air conditioning. The system can be used for comfortable living in a severe condition such as a desert by the effective combination of the evaporation-cooling apparatus with the water producing apparatus under utilizing heat-exchange in high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 4304577
Abstract: A water producing apparatus is, as a principle, to produce liquid water from moisture in the air by adsorbing the moisture on an adsorbent and then desorbing water from the adsorbent by heating it and condensing steam into liquid water. The water producing apparatus comprises a recycling passage for recycling steam through an adsorbent column in the desorbing step, a heater for heating the steam in the recycling passage; and a condenser branched from the recycling passage. In the desorbing step, steam in the recycling passage is heated by the heater to heat the adsorbent and to desorb water from the adsorbent and excess of steam corresponding to the desorbed steam is passed from the recycling passage to the branched condenser and is condensed to obtain liquid water in high efficiency.

  • Patent number: 3997631
Abstract: An ejector type gas-liquid mixing apparatus having a valve for feeding a gas, which does not adversely affect the main gas-liquid mixing operation, into the gas feed system thereof, when the pressure of the gas feed system decreases below a predetermined value, wherein the valve is disposed between an aspirating inlet of the ejector and the gas feeder. Thus, in an apparatus for mixing a liquid and ozone using an ejector, which comprises a first pipe system for connecting the ejector and an ozone generator, a second pipe system for connecting a reaction vessel for separating the unreacted ozone from the gas-liquid mixture fluid fed from the ejector, an exhaust ozone removing device for removing the unreacted ozone, and such check valve connecting the first and second pipe systems, any ozone leaked from the check valve is removed by the exhaust ozone removing device and counterflowing liquid from the aspirating inlet of the ejector to the gas feed system is prevented.
