    Abstract: A method for molding an in-mold coating product including a substrate and a coating formed on a surface of the substrate. A first mold including a fixed mold piece is closed to form a substrate cavity therein. The substrate cavity is charged with a resin to form the substrate with a seal projection formed near the parting line of the first mold. Then, a second mold, which uses the fixed mold piece of the first mold, is closed with the substrate arranged on the fixed mold piece to form a coating cavity therein. The second mold deforms the seal projection so that when a coating material is charged into the coating cavity, the coating material does not leak out toward the parting line of the second mold.

    Abstract: According to a method for molding wheel caps, a base member of a thermoplastic resin is molded using a first cavity mold. Then, a film is formed on the base member by injecting a thermosetting coating material into a film forming cavity defined between a surface of the base member and a second cavity mold, such that the film forming cavity is filled with the coating material. The temperature of the second cavity mold is set to a temperature lower than the curing temperature of the thermosetting coating material at the time of injection of the thermosetting coating material into the film forming cavity.

The surface of the nonwoven fabric has MIU of 0.16 or less, MMD of 0.02 or less, and SMD of 6.0 or less, when measured with a KES test method. The mesh structure is obtained by pressing a fiber web in which the main fibers and the binder fibers are intertwined. The unwoven fabric is formed into a predetermined outer shape. The additional layer has a function other than the noise absorbing function.
