  • Patent number: 7252062
Abstract: A glow plug energization control apparatus is provided which includes a power supply working to supply electric power to a glow plug mounted in an internal combustion engine, an on-off switch working to produce a control trigger signal when turned on, and a controller including a microcomputer. The microcomputer is responsive to the control trigger signal to control supply of the electric power from the power supply to energize the glow plug. The microcomputer works to monitor an off-on interval from turning off to turning on of the on-off switch and control an amount of energization of the glow plug as a function of the off-on interval, thereby avoiding overheating of the glow plug.

  • Patent number: 7251995
Abstract: Two heat generating resistors are formed on a substrate in the upstream side with respect to an air flow direction and two other heat generating resistors are formed in the downstream side. A thermometer resistor for detecting a temperature in the intake manifold is formed on the substrate. A bridge circuit is formed of the heat generating resistors. A temperature of the four heat generating resistors is controlled to be at a predetermined temperature by balancing a bridge circuit constituted of the thermometer resistor or the like with a differential amplifier and a transistor. When air flows, electric potentials of the intermediate terminals in the bridge circuit change. A flow quantity and a flow direction of the air are calculated by detecting the electric potential difference.

  • Publication number: 20070174719
Abstract: The storage control device of the present invention detects faults on the disk drives at an early stage, thus enhancing convenience of use. The disk drives are switchingly connected to a subordinate communication control unit via a switching circuit. An error information collection unit of an error monitoring unit detects errors which have occurred at each port of the switching circuit. The errors which have been detected are stored in an intermediate storage unit, and are input via an error information notification unit to a fault recovery control unit of the subordinate communication control unit. By doing this, it is possible to immediately specify whether or not a fault has occurred on any of the disk drives, and to start a fault recovery procedure.
