  • Publication number: 20050116080
Abstract: A recording paper roll unit comprises plural recording paper rolls that are held by a common core. The recording paper rolls are covered with a light shielding sheet. When the core is rotated, the recording papers are drawn out from the recording paper rolls. Two images are recorded at a time by exposure to the recording papers. When the recording papers have the same recording characteristics, the exposure condition of an exposure unit becomes the same. When the recording papers have the same length, the recording paper rolls can be used up at the same time. When the recording papers have the same width, two images of the same size are recorded at the same time, and thus it is possible to increase the recording speed.

  • Patent number: 5768153
Abstract: Quality information with respect to a product in a second processed state is generated from quality information produced when a product in a first processed state is produced, using a processing condition for the product in the second processed state. A process to be effected on the product in the second processed state is automatically determined according to the generated quality information for thereby efficiently managing the production of the product.

  • Patent number: 5107511
Abstract: A method and apparatus for stabilizing the wavelength in a laser. The apparatus includes a first and second etalon for fine and rough tuning, respectively, of a laser oscillator. The output power and wavelength of the laser beam, for example, can be used to adjust these etalons to provide a constant output power and to counteract the change in etalon characteristics due to heat.

  • Patent number: 4799075
Abstract: A film loading date display device for a camera includes an input unit for inputting a film loading date, a storing unit for storing the inputted film loading date, and a display unit for displaying the stored film loading data. The input unit is comprised either of a date setting switch and a timer circuit, or of DX contacts adapted to contact the outer periphery of a patrone for detecting film information, a switch for detecting the opening of a film loading door, and a timer circuit. Current date information counted by the timer circuit is written as a film loading date in the storing unit upon actuation of the date setting switch or upon loading of the patrone as well as closing of the door.

  • Patent number: 4745799
Abstract: A control device for a chassis dynamometer system which outputs a control signal for controlling a dynamometer on the basis of a control equation having parameters including a sensed torque and a sensed rotational speed of the dynamometer and an inertia of a vehicle to be tested and a mechanical inertia of the dynamometer system and including control coefficients, the control signal controlling said dynamometer so as to control the mechanical force to be absorbed therein when the dynamometer is connected to a rotating roller on which a driving wheel of the vehicle to be tested is placed via a shaft which is provided with a flywheel. The control device includes a circuit for automatically adjusting the control coefficients of the control equation utilized in the control device in accordance with changes in the mechanical inertia of said dynamometer system.

  • Patent number: 4493610
Abstract: An axial thrust balancing system including a sleeve for balancing an axial thrust applied to a rotary shaft and a bush defining therebetween a clearance having arranged therein at least one pressure chamber for dividing the clearance into a plurality of smaller clearances. The axial division of the clearance reduced the ratio of the axial length of the clearance to the diameter of the sleeve and stabilizes the bearing characteristics of a film of fluid in the clearance, thereby inhibiting the generation of a self-excited vibration of the shaft up to a high rotation velocity.
