  • Patent number: 6226651
Abstract: An integrated DBMS solution to recover primary site database based upon the maintenance of a shadow copy of the primary site's database data and logs at a remote site. Both the primary site DBMS and the remote site DBMS may support write-ahead logging protocol in which log records are written to a log data set before database updates are entered into the remote site storage. The remote site serves at least two functions: as a “tracker” DBMS and as a “take-over” DBMS. The tracker function maintains a shadow copy of the primary site's database data sets at the remote site. The multi-phased take-over function uses the shadow copies to update the remote site database data sets and substitutes them for primary site database data sets made unavailable by an unplanned disaster at the primary site.

  • Patent number: 6042405
Abstract: A relative rotation temporary stop mechanism 14 is integrally provided in a first rotor 11, and has a lock mechanism 140 elastically displaceable relative to the first rotor 11, and a lock recess portion 120a provided in a second rotor (stator) 12. The lock mechanism 140 has a lock protrusion portion 140a and an inclined portion 140b at its top end portion and at its base end portion respectively such that the lock protrusion portion 140a is fitted to the lock recess portion 120a. When an external connector A is connected to a direct connector 15, the inclined portion 140b is pushed by the external connector A to make the lock mechanism 140 move so that the lock protrusion portion 140a comes off from the lock recess portion 120a.

  • Patent number: 6023022
Abstract: A case body having first and second case bodies. A bus bar having a plurality of terminals and a tie bar integrally connecting the terminals to each other. A wire is positioned by a holder engaged with an engaging portion on the first case body. The bus bar and the flat cable are positioned by an engagement between a through hole thereof and a projecting portion on the first case. In a state of being positioned, a core wire, the terminal and a conductor portion are mutually connected to each other. The first and second case bodies are joined in a state of being positioned in the above manner. The tie bar is cut and a plurality of terminals are held within the case body in such a manner as to be mutually independent from each other. In accordance with this structure, a relative positioning among the wire, the bus bar and the flat cable is performed by a structural engagement between each of the members and the case body without using an insert molding.

  • Patent number: 5741145
Abstract: A locking member is provided for properly locking an electrical device turning member and fixed member together. The locking member includes an elastic engaging piece and an elastic touching piece. The elastic engaging piece engages an in-hole projection of an engaging hole of the turning member upon insertion of the locking member into the engaging hole. The locking member elastic touching piece contacts the inside wall of the engaging hole upon insertion of the locking member into the engaging hole. The locking member further includes a latching part for engaging a latching projection of the fixed member. The elastic engaging piece and elastic touching piece both provide for sway prevention of the locking member within the engaging hole, and securely lock the locking member within the hole.

  • Patent number: 5561266
Abstract: A cable connector for connecting cable conductors (6A) of a flat cable (6) to wire conductors (41A, 42A, 43A) of a plurality of external wires (41, 42, 43), respectively comprises a T-shaped wire mounting plate (30) formed with a plurality of U-shaped grooves (31, 32, 33) and with a pair of guide bridges (34, 35). The U-shaped grooves hold the external wires on a first surface thereof in such a way that the wire conductors of the external wires are arranged being bent at a right angle and further projected from one end surface of the wire mounting plate, respectively. A pair of the guide bridges (34, 35) hold the fiat cable on a second surface thereof opposite to the first surface thereof in such a way that the cable conductors of the flat cable are arranged being projected from the same end surface of the wire mounting plate side by side with the projecting wire conductors of the external wires.

  • Patent number: 5102061
Abstract: The brushless signal transmitting device comprises a rotor; a fixed housing for rotatably supporting the rotor; at least one gear in mesh between the rotor and the fixed housing; an intermediate member disposed between the rotor and the fixed housing and rotatable in synchronism with and in the same direction as the rotor at a predetermined speed reduction ratio via the gear; a guide roller supported on the intermediate member; and a flexible wiring member connected between the rotor and the fixed housing. The wiring member is wound up around the rotor counterclockwise, for instance, and then returned via the guide roller so as to be wound up around the intermediate member clockwise. Since the intermediate member is larger in diameter but smaller in rotative speed than that of the rotor, it is possible to reduce the length of the flexible wiring member required to rotate the rotor by a predetermined number of revolutions of the rotor.
