  • Patent number: 11968889
Abstract: A light-emitting element having a long lifetime is provided. A light-emitting element exhibiting high emission efficiency in a high luminance region is provided. A light-emitting element includes a light-emitting layer between a pair of electrodes. The light-emitting layer contains a first organic compound, a second organic compound, and a phosphorescent compound. The first organic compound is represented by a general formula (GO). The molecular weight of the first organic compound is greater than or equal to 500 and less than or equal to 2000. The second organic compound is a compound having an electron-transport property. In the general formula (GO), Ar1 and Ar2 each independently represent a fluorenyl group, a spirofluorenyl group, or a biphenyl group, and Ar3 represents a substituent including a carbazole skeleton.

  • Patent number: 8384821
Abstract: An exemplary embodiment of the present invention is an autofocus method that includes moving a focus lens according to an image signal generated from an image of a subject formed by an imaging optical system with a focus lens, obtaining a focus contrast of each of multiple image signals generated in a case of moving a position of the focus lens; and determining a moving direction of the focus lens according to the multiple obtained focus contrasts in response to a focus instruction.

  • Patent number: 6590741
Abstract: A magnetic head for attachment to a drum includes two magnetic cores butted against each other, and a gap is formed therebetween. A glass is bonded to the upper butted portion. A winding is provided on the magnetic cores, and electromagnetic transformation is carried out. On the sliding face of the magnetic head, two grooves and are formed with the gap positioned therebetween at positions symmetrical with each other in a rotation direction of the drum to provide good contact between the magnetic head and a magnetic tape or other magnetic medium. A protective film is formed on the surface of the sliding face. The magnetic head generates a negative pressure by virtue of the grooves formed in the sliding face in the rotation direction of the drum, thereby improving contact between the magnetic head and the magnetic tape.

  • Patent number: 6150044
Abstract: In a metal-in-gap magnetic head, a pair of magnetic core halves made of ferrite are arranged to oppose to each other, and metallic magnetic films are applied to each of opposing surfaces of the pair of magnetic core halves. A hard glass layer and a chromium layer are applied to a gap plane of the magnetic head as a gap layer. A gap is formed so as to abut on the chromium layers between a pair of the gap layers. The hard glass layer includes borosilicate as a main component and it has Vickers hardness of the same as that of said metallic magnetic films or less and softening temperature of 550.degree. C. or higher. Thus, a magnetic head does not generate a spacing loss when a tape slides thereon.

  • Patent number: 5048687
Abstract: A number of inner packages are formed into a unit and wrapped in an outer package. The combination of the inner and outer packages allows the package to hold its shape after the outer package is opened. The outer package is formed by wrapping the inner package unit in a tubular outer wrap, and sealing the top and bottom surfaces. The outer wrap, or at least the material for the top and bottom panels of the outer package, is made of a contractible or heat shrinkable flexible plastic film which is contracted or heat shrunk to maintain and hold the inner package unit in a tightly packed condition. Deformation of the outer package is more effectively prevented and makes the outer package easy to handle. An opening in the outer package is formed by perforation lines in two side panels and a top or bottom panel. The perforation lines may extend the entire height of the outer package. The panel sections between these perforation lines form dust flaps after opening.
