  • Patent number: 7178801
Abstract: An apparatus for accumulating and delivering folded cardboard sheets includes at least a pair of stacking bases moveable along a loop including a stacking position for stacking the cardboard sheets on the stacking bases and a delivering position for delivering the pile of cardboard sheets on the stacking bases. The apparatus receives cardboard sheets fed one by one, accumulates them in a pile consisting of a predetermined number of cardboard sheets, and delivers the pile of sheets. When one of the stacking bases moves away from the stacking position, the other is moved into the stacking position so that the stacking bases alternatively move into the stacking position. Preferably, the loop has resting and ejecting positions and when one of the stacking bases moves from the ejecting to the stacking position, that stacking base ejects the pile of sheets previously formed on the other stacking base.

  • Patent number: 6902318
Abstract: Provided is a thermometer that is mounted on an engine incorporated in a vehicle and that measures the temperature of the engine during running of the vehicle. A temperature/resistance element included in the thermometer senses the temperature of the engine all the time. The sensed temperature is displayed on a display. Furthermore, a temperature warning indicator indicates whether the sensed temperature exceeds a warning set temperature. While monitoring the sensed temperature and temperature warning indication, a driver can accelerate the vehicle or shift the transmission gear so as to retain a load on the engine in an optimal state.

  • Patent number: 6889274
Abstract: A signal processing circuit having a data input-output (I/O) circuit, a microprocessor, a dedicated processing circuit, a local memory, and a memory access control circuit interconnected over a bus. The system bus connects to the data I/O circuit, microprocessor, dedicated processing circuit, and memory access control circuit. A local memory bus connects to the local memory. First, second, and third connection circuits connect between the system bus and local memory bus, between a first local bus in the dedicated processing circuit and the local memory bus, and between a second local bus in the data I/O circuit and the local memory bus. The memory access control circuit controls the first, second, and third connection circuits according to priorities assigned for the connection circuits and determines which of the second local bus, first local bus, and system bus will be connected to the local memory bus.
