Patent number: 5055058Abstract: An automatic lock checking device for a wire harness connector having short-circuiting female and male terminals for checking for incomplete locking thereof, including a diagnostic resistance-containing circuit connected parallel with a circuit containing a sensor and having the positive and negative sides thereof connected through conducting terminals of the connector to a load or an electronic control unit adapted to process input signals from the sensor. The automatic lock checking device includes at least a pair of short-circuiting terminals connected in series in the diagnostic resistance circuit and arranged to be short-circuited when the connector is completely locked.Type: GrantFiled: May 14, 1990Date of Patent: October 8, 1991Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Yasuhiro Nagasaka, Hiromichi Shigenobu, Kazuyuki Shiraki, Motomi Iyoda, Akira Maeda

Patent number: 4900267Abstract: An engagement check structure in a harness connector assembly. Detachable mating female and male housings are respectively accommodated with plural pairs of mating terminals and adapted to be locked to each other. In the structure, there is further provided at least one pair of mating terminals. One of the terminals of the pair is supported in the male housing while the other is generally secured within the female housing. The female housing is also formed with a tapered guide member which has a sloped surface therein. The terminal of the male housing has an ear portion formed at its forwardmost end to extend laterally. When the male housing is engaged halfway with the female housing, the ear portion rides over the tapered guide member to raise the terminal of the male housing. At the time of full engagement of both housings, the ear portion is released from the overriding engagement to bring the terminal of the male housing into elastic engagement with the terminal of the female housing.Type: GrantFiled: May 30, 1989Date of Patent: February 13, 1990Assignee: Yazaki CorporationInventors: Yasuhiro Nagasaka, Hiromichi Shigenobu, Kazuyuki Shiraki, Akira Maeda

Patent number: 4629027Abstract: An automatic speed controller for use of a vehicle. The automatic speed controller maintains the actual vehicle speed into a preset vehicle apeed. The controller has a vacuum type actuator which is operated by a diaphragm. The diaphragm is actuated buy controlling the volume of an atmospheric pressure to that of a vacuum pressure. If the controller is out of order by any troubles, the atmospheric pressure is positively introduced into the actuator, thereby preventing the actual vehicle speed from being more than the preset vehicle speed.Type: GrantFiled: January 10, 1985Date of Patent: December 16, 1986Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiromichi Shigenobu

Patent number: 4594975Abstract: A glow plug current supply control system for a diesel engine comprises a rapid heating circuit and an after glow circuit. A current can be supplied to a glow plug through either the rapid heating circuit or after glow circuit. When the after glow circuit is closed, the current is intermittently supplied to the glow plug through thyristor on-off operated by a signal from an oscillator circuit. Before the diesel engine starts, the current is supplied to the glow plug through the rapid heating circuit and after the diesel engine starts, the current is supplied to the glow plug through the after glow circuit.Type: GrantFiled: July 31, 1985Date of Patent: June 17, 1986Assignee: Toyota Jidosha Kabushiki KaishaInventor: Hiromichi Shigenobu

Patent number: 4575615Abstract: A hot water supplying device is provided with a hot water supplying tank which includes first and second tank chambers. Warm water of about 85.degree. C. is stored in the first tank chamber and hot water, which is higher in temperature than the warm water in the first tank chamber, is stored in the second tank chamber. The warm water in the first tank chamber is supplied to a coffee liquid making or percolating means by a pressure pump through a guide pipe. The guide pipe is introduced, on the way, into the hot water in the second tank chamber, whereby the warm water pressure fed from the first tank chamber through the guide pipe can be further heated by the heat of the hot water in the second tank chamber, and supplied to the coffee liquid making or percolating means.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 1984Date of Patent: March 11, 1986Assignee: Toshiba Electric Appliances Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiromichi Shigenobu, Takao Nakabayashi, Kitio Akiyama, Masao Miida, Hisashi Karasawa

Patent number: 4506596Abstract: A beverage brewing apparatus according to the present invention is provided with a brewing cylinder. A pressurizing piston is slidably fitted in the brewing cylinder. The pressurizing piston, in conjunction with a coffee filter tape, defines a brewing chamber inside the brewing cylinder. The pressurizing piston compresses coffee powder fed into the brewing chamber. When the powder is pressurized by the pressurizing piston in the brewing chamber, extremely hot pressurized hot water is poured into the brewing chamber by a hot-water supply mechanism. As a result, a coffee solution percolated in the brewing chamber runs out therefrom through the filter tape.Type: GrantFiled: May 29, 1984Date of Patent: March 26, 1985Assignee: Toshiba Electric Appliances Co., Ltd.Inventors: Hiromichi Shigenobu, Takao Nakabayashi, Kitio Akiyama, Masao Miida, Hisashi Karasawa
