  • Publication number: 20070063591
Abstract: A driving device which makes it possible to reduce the moment of inertia of a rotor and increase torque. A magnet is formed to have a hollow cylindrical shape and has magnetized sections which are magnetized to have alternately different poles in a circumferential direction thereof. A coil is wound coaxially with the magnet and is disposed in axially side-by-side relation to the magnet. A stator yoke is formed of a soft magnetic material and fixes the magnet and the coil. A rotor yoke is formed of a soft magnetic material, and has magnetic pole portions formed in opposed relation to the magnetized sections, for being magnetized by the coil. The rotor yoke is supported in a manner rotatable with respect to the stator yoke. An rotation restricting part limits a range of rotation of the rotor yoke within a predetermined angle.

  • Publication number: 20070024127
Abstract: A driving apparatus includes a first magnet, second magnet, stator, first coil, second coil, first bearing, second bearing and rotor. The first and second magnets respectively have a magnetized portion in which S pole and N pole are alternately magnetized. The rotor has a magnetic pole portion opposite to each magnetized portion. The stator fixes the first magnet and second magnet to the same axis to rotatably support the rotor. The first coil magnetically excites a portion where the magnetic pole portion of the rotor faces the first magnet. The second coil magnetically excites a portion where the magnetic pole portion of the rotor faces the second magnet. Thereby, a driving apparatus is provided which stabilizes the quality by simplifying the configuration of a rotor and makes it possible to realize high speed of rotation and improvement of response speed by decreasing the moment of inertia of a rotor.

  • Patent number: 5335708
Abstract: A cooling apparatus has a heat exchanger for performing heat exchange between cooling water and fluid, and a flow rate regulator valve for regulating a flow rate of either the cooling water or the fluid which pass through the heat exchanger. A cooling temperature of the fluid is preset. A temperature of the cooled fluid is detected, and an opening degree of the flow rate regulator valve is changed when there is a difference between the detected temperature and the preset temperature. Simultaneously, either a temperature difference of the cooling water and the fluid or a flow rate of the cooling water is detected. The opening degree of the flow rate regulator valve is corrected or compensated on the basis of a result of the detection, thus enabling suitable temperature control of the fluid in accordance with a variation of the temperature or flow rate of the cooling water.

  • Patent number: 5148977
Abstract: The control system for the air-conditioner disclosed herein comprises means for setting a set value of a room temperature, means for detecting an actual value of the room temperature, means for detecting a radiant heat from walls etc. of the room as a radiation temperature, and an operational control means. The operational control means stores a comfort line which defines an inverse proportional relation between the room temperature and the radiation temperature, said comfort line depending upon set value of the room temperature. The operational control means calculates a first control index which is represented by a difference between the actual value and the set value of the room temperature and a second control index which is represented by a difference between the comfort line and the current temperature condition represented by the actual room temperature and the radiation temperature.

  • Patent number: 5097670
Abstract: A water chilling apparatus comprising a plurality of chilling modules each having a refrigerating cycle mainly composed of a compressor, a condensor, an evaporator and an expansion mechanism, and a control module having a water pump for feeding, to an object to be chilled, chilling water cooled down by the evaporator of each chilling module, a detector for detecting a temperature of the chilling water and a water temperature controller. A chilling ability of each chilling module in response to a variable frequency is kept at substantially the same level. A capacity of the compressor of each chilling module is variably controlled in a range between an upper limit capacity and a lower limit capacity. The water temperature controller is used to calculate a whole necessary capacity value needed in the compressors of all the chilling modules as a function as a deviation between a set value of the chilling water temperature and a chilling water temperature detected by the detector.
