    Abstract: An optical device including a lens group which generates an optical image on an image pickup area by focusing an image of a photographing object, an optical diaphragm which narrows light flux optically when the optical portion generates the optical image, an ND filter group which is disposed in front of or behind the optical diaphragm and constituted of a plurality of ND filters each having a different light transmittance, and an ND filter adjusting portion which adjusts a positional relation of the ND filter with respect to the optical axis of the optical portion. At least one of the plural ND filters is an oblique ND filter in which the transmittance change line which is a change line of the light transmittance intersects at least two sides constituting the image pickup area obliquely.

    Abstract: A camera of the present invention is provided with a gapless prism which obtains wavelength spectrum of an optical image of a targeting object, an IR-cut filter which is inserted to and retreated from an optical path, and a Bch image sensor, a Gch image sensor, and an Rch+IR image sensor which are arranged for respective spectrum separated by the gapless prism. An infrared ray separator which conducts separation into a specific spectrum signal and an infrared ray signal from infrared ray mixture image data output from the Rch+IR image sensor when the IR-cut filter is retreated from the optical path.

    Abstract: In a present imaging device, an optical image formed through a lens group from a subject is converted into an imaging signal by an imaging element and a focused area is detected by a focused area detection portion. Optical displacement or physical movement of the lens group is detected by a focus lens movement detector and an adjustment stage of the lens group is determined by a focused stage determination portion based on a detection signal output from this. Based on the determination result, the focused area of the imaging signal is automatically enlarged and output.

    Abstract: A camera includes an optical system, an image sensor, a white balance correction section, an original image processing section, a geometric setting section which sets a desired geometric transformation for the original picture signal, a geometry converter which generates a geometrically converted picture signal based on the geometric setting made by the geometric setting section, an edge component extractor, an edge signal generator, and an image synthesizer which synthesizes the geometrically converted picture signal and signal at the edges to generate a picture signal. The edge signal generator performs geometrical transformation of the edges of the image based on the geometric setting and is parameter-controlled based on a geometry parameter computed from a coefficient to emphasize edges for controlling the enhancement at the edges amount for the edges of the image and magnification to zoom an image calculated based on the geometric setting.
