  • Patent number: 10749643
Abstract: A waveform observation system includes two communication nodes, a waveform observation apparatus, and a signal generation portion. The two communication nodes execute a full-duplex communication by a differential signal through a transmission line. The waveform observation apparatus observes a communication signal waveform in the transmission line in response to an input of a trigger signal. The signal generation portion outputs the trigger signal. One of the two communication nodes generates a clock signal, and transmits a signal in synchronization with the clock signal. Remaining one of the two communication nodes reproduces the clock signal included in the signal received from the one of the two communication nodes, and transmits a signal in synchronization with the clock signal that is reproduced. The signal generation portion outputs the trigger signal when equal to or more than two symbols indicated by the signal output to the transmission line consecutively coincide with one another.

Abstract: A communication system includes a transmission path and multiple nodes. At least one of the multiple nodes includes a second communication portion and a control portion in addition to a first communication portion. When the control portion performs a high speed communication, the control portion shifts the first communication portion included in each of the remaining multiple nodes to a sleep mode. The second communication portion performs a differential communication at a higher speed than the first communication portion using a differential signal. In the differential signal, a maximum of a potential difference between the pair of communication lines is equal to or less than a recessive threshold value, and a minimum of the potential difference between the pair of communication lines is a negative voltage value that has a polarity opposite to the recessive threshold value of the first communication portion.

  • Patent number: 9703735
Abstract: A data communication system includes a master and a slave. The master transmits a first subject signal including a first subject data to the slave via a transmission line. The slave extracts a clock signal from the first subject signal by performing a clock data recovery process and determines the first subject data based on the first subject signal. The slave transmits a second subject signal including a second subject data to the master during an existing period of the first subject signal without interfering an extracting of the clock signal and a determination of the first subject data. The master receives the second subject signal and cancels a waveform component of the first subject signal from a waveform of the second subject signal, and then determines the second subject data based on the second subject signal.

Abstract: A transmitter 1 comprises a clock generation portion 4, FIFO portion 6, and serial signal creation portion 7. The clock generation portion 4 performs modulation by spectrum spreading of a reference clock CKref, and generates a first clock CK1 with a high modulation factor and a second clock CK2 with a low modulation factor. The FIFO portion 6 takes as inputs the first clock CK1 which has been output from the clock generation portion 4 to a data generation portion 2 and output from the data generation portion 2, a parallel data signal which has been synchronized with the first clock CK1 in the data generation portion 2 and output, and the second clock CK2 output from the clock generation portion 4, and synchronizes the parallel data signal Pdata with the second clock CK2 and outputs the parallel data signal Pdata. The serial signal creation portion 7 converts a parallel data signal PRdata into a serial data signal Sdata.
