The medical article is an adhesive article, where the adhesive article includes at least one fold along a fold line along an axis of symmetry of the adhesive article. Some of the folded adhesive articles have three segments, two adhesive segments and an absorbent pad, where the two adhesive segments are attached to a double sided release liner.

Abstract: The disclosed adhesive medical article has a backing layer having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite to the first major surface. The backing layer has a central portion and an outer circumferential portion. The article further has a pressure sensitive adhesive pattern coating applied onto at least part of the first major surface of the backing layer in such a way as to form a plurality of adhesive coated and adhesive uncoated areas of the backing layer. The adhesive uncoated areas comprise a central collection portion and at least one longitudinal extension radiating from the central collection portion towards the outer circumferential portion of the backing layer.

Abstract: Siloxane-based gel compositions are prepared from room temperature condensation curable mixtures that include 0.5-45% by weight silicone resin with at least two hydroxyl groups, 99.5-55% by weight of at least one silanol-terminated siloxane fluid, and a co-curable compound with an amino group. The siloxane-based gel compositions can be used as adhesives or sealants in medical articles.

The single-coated adhesive tape comprises an adhesive layer having a thickness of 30 to 1000 ?m, which contains 50 to 95% by weight of a hot melt adhesive and 5 to 50% by weight of a layer having a thickness of 0.01 to 15 ?m is provided on one surface of said adhesive layer.
