The server communicates with the image forming apparatus using server-side registration information registered in the remote environment. The control unit determines whether the server-side registration information has been deleted in the remote environment based on a received signal received from the server, and delete the client-side registration information stored in the storage unit in a case where it is determined that the server-side registration information has been deleted in the remote environment.
