    Abstract: In a gas burner ignition device for a gas-operated refrigerator, the ignition electrode of a high voltage generating unit and the flame detecting rod of a flame detector are formed into one unit to miniaturize the device. The device comprises timer means which when the flame detector or the high voltage generating unit is out of order, operates to suspend the supply of gas to the gas burner.
