  • Publication number: 20240102552
Abstract: A continuously variable transmission includes: a first pulley and a second pulley each including a fixed pulley and a movable pulley; and an endless member wound around the first pulley and the second pulley, wherein the continuously variable transmission continuously changes a speed ratio by controlling a thrust of the movable pulley with a hydraulic pressure, the thrust of the movable pulley is made smaller as a rotation speed of the first pulley decreases, and when the rotation speed of the first pulley is lower than a predetermined rotation speed, the thrust of the movable pulley in a case where the speed ratio is on a Low side of the predetermined speed ratio is not made smaller than the thrust of the movable pulley in a case where the speed ratio is on a High side of the predetermined speed ratio.

  • Patent number: 10666955
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a still image generating apparatus that generates still image data from moving image data that generates a moving image, and includes a recorder and a control unit. The recorder is configured to record the still image data. When a specific frame image is selected from a plurality of frame images included in the moving image, the control unit sets a specific frame image group including the specific frame image and other frame images having a reference relationship with the specific frame image. The control unit generates the still image data corresponding to each of the plurality of frame images included in the specific frame image group by decoding the moving image data. The control unit causes the recorder to record the generated still image data. • Patent number: 8521849
Abstract: An electronic device is connected to a communication network, to which a server and an external device are connected. The electronic device includes an interface which receives an instruction from a user; a processor which determines information to be transmitted and a destination of the transmission based on the user's instruction; and a communication module which transmits the information to the destination. In the case where a content file is selected via the interface, when the selected content file has not been uploaded on the server, the communication module transmits the content file to the server, and after the transmission, transmits location information indicating a location where the content file is stored in the communication network to the external device. When the selected content file has been uploaded on the server, the communication module transmits the location information indicating the location where the content file is stored to the external device.

  • Patent number: 5862272
Abstract: In the image detector according to the present invention, a signal processing block generates a video signal by processing a pickup image signal corresponding to an image of an object which is picked up by an image pickup block and a motion detection block detects variations per unit time of luminance or a color of a portion or a whole of an image formed on the basis of the video signal as character variables of the image. A character analyzing block divides the video signal generated by the signal processing block into signals at durations each having the same character variable of the image detected by a motion detection block, and adds, to each of the divided video signals, an importance degree determined according to the character variables of the image and a duration of the signal, thereby making it possible to save memory capacities, accelerate retrieval of pickup images and enhance utilization efficiencies of transmission systems for lessening loads.
