    Abstract: A circuit board has a glass core in which a through hole is formed, and a conductor pattern is formed on an inner peripheral wall of the through hole and a surface of the glass core to form a circuit element including a solenoid coil element and a capacitor element. Accordingly, a low-cost and compact circuit board capable of supporting high-capacity communication for thin mobile communication devices such as smartphones can be provided. Since the circuit board can be electrically connected to at least one of the electronic components such as a switch, an amplifier, and a filter via one terminal, and can be electrically connected to a mother board via another terminal, it has integrated functions, and can be suitably used for thin mobile communication devices such as smartphones.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a sealing apparatus wherein, as a drum (5) and a rotary base (6) are rotated together, a follower (10a) of a rocking support member (9) rockably provided on the outer periphery of the rotary base (6) is guided along a cam groove (15c) of a cam member (15) to drive the rocking support member (9) to rock. When the rotary drum (5) reaches a predetermined rotational position, an anvil (14) supported by the rocking support member (9) is urged onto a horn (8), and then, when it reaches another rotational position, the anvil (14) is moved away from the horn (8). Since the anvil (14) is driven by the rocking motion of the rocking support member (9), entire operation becomes quite simple, and a continuous soft work can be certainly clamped between the horn (8) and the anvil (14).

    Abstract: The present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus facilitating side edges of a web continuously running in a machine direction to be quickly corrected when these side edges are detected to be out of coincidence with a positions in a cross direction orthogonal to the machine direction. Roll means rotating about a shaft extending in a direction defined between a machine direction and a cross direction are put in contact with side edge of a web continuously running in the machine direction. The shaft is mounted on an arm adapted to rotate back-and-forth so that the shaft can swing in- and outward in the cross direction. Downstream of the roll means, the side edge is position-detected and the arm is made swing by a desired angle determined on the basis of a difference between the actual position and a desired position.

The traverse, arrangement support these rubber threads in parallel to one another and forcibly guide them in sine curves with respect to the continuous web 7 so that the portions 4A.sub.1, 4B.sub.1 of the elastic members 4A, 4B to be bonded to the continuous web are bonded thereto. Then, the non-bonded portions 4A2, 4B2 of the elastic members are cut together with the web 7 along boundaries of the individual articles and thereupon contract under their own stretch stresses.

    Abstract: Here is disclosed a method for efficiently attaching elastic members around leg-holes of a garment such as a disposable diaper or the like without any futile use of material.Elastic members 04A, 04B are fed and bonded onto a web so that the respective elastic members described curves like sine curves with summits and troughs of these curves defining together respective annular elastic areas 16 and thereby a base web is formed. Then the base web is severed into strips 17' bearing thereon the individual annular elastic areas and these strips 17' are intermittently bonded to a web 07 to form a composite web 19. A separate web is bonded onto a top surface of the composite web 19 to form a composite web 20. Finally, the composite web 20 is severed along center lines of the respective annular elastic areas 16 into individual garments.
