Abstract: A hinge device for an electronic appliance for rotatably linking a first member and a second member, comprises a bearing section arranged on one of the first member and the second member, and a rotary shaft section arranged on the other of the first member and the second member. The rotary shaft section is rotatably engaged with the bearing section. The rotary shaft section is provided with a hollow section configured to arrange a functional member relating to a function of the electronic appliance to which the hinge device is applied.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus are provided with a card-like part 1a, a box-like part 1b united thereto, a connector 14 provided at one end of the card-like part 1a and having a terminal for sending out signal to the outside, a camera unit 11 detachably accommodated in the box-like unit 1b, an imaging circuit unit 15 for digitalizing image output from the camera unit 11, signal processing means including a digital processing circuit unit 16 for digitally processing the output signal of the unit 15 and a memory circuit unit 17 capable of storing the processed digital signal, an operating unit 12 provided in the box-like part 1b and operable in connection with imaging, and trigger switches 12b and 11c provided for imaging on the operating unit 12 and camera unit 11, respectively.

Abstract: A reading section optically reads a code from a recording medium having a portion on which multimedia information including at least one of audio information, video information, and digital code data is recorded as an optically readable code. A plurality of processing sections sequentially process the code read by the reading section and output the processed code as the original multimedia information. An operation switch designates the start of reading of the code. A control section causes one or a plurality of the plurality of processing sections to terminate a processing operation for a code which has been read by the time the operation switch is operated, and executes processing for data of the processed code in correspondence with another processing section on a subsequent stage, on the basis of the operation of the operation switch after the start of reading is designated by the operation switch.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a water-dispersion-type hot-rolling lubricant for the production of seamless steel pipes. This lubricant features the inclusion of a salt of a polybasic high molecular acid in addition to fine graphite powder, a water-insoluble fine particulate synthetic resin and water as principal components and fine gilsonite powder as an optional component. Even when the surface temperature of a mandrel bar is in a high temperature range of 100.degree.-400.degree. C., this lubricant can form a uniform and thick coating film on the surface of the bar so that the lubricant can exhibit extremely good hot-rolling lubrication performance.

Abstract: An automatic tape winding device in which the leading end portion of a tape-like article inserted into the device is pressed against a portion of a reel hub rotating at a peripheral speed higher than the speed of said tape-like article and, upon passage of the point of pressure contact of said tape-like article with said reel hub, is again led to said point of pressure contact, and such operation is repeated, whereby said leading end portion of the tape-like article is automatically engaged with said reel hub.
