  • Patent number: 7119922
Abstract: A printing device of the present invention includes a printing head for carrying out a printing operation on one side of a surface of a disk, such as a CD-R medium, and arranged such that the printing operation is performed on the disk as the disk and the printing head are relatively shifted by the rotation of the disk.

  • Patent number: 4908667
Abstract: A photographic copying apparatus for reproducing an original on photosensitive paper. A roll of photosensitive paper mounted in a magazine is fed downwardly and cut into sheets. Each sheet is sucked to a vertically arranged suction conveyor and fed down. At a predetermined position, the feed of the sheet stops. An exposure table which is turnable and movable between two points is turned and pressed against the sheet on the conveyor. The suction conveyor stops sucking the sheet while the exposure table starts sucking it, so that the sheet is handed over to the latter. The table now carrying the sheet moves toward the expsoure unit. On its way, it is turned and passed under a corona charger. As the table reaches and the exposure unit, it is turned again and the light reflected by an original is shed on the sheet for light exposure. The table is then turned to bring its sheet carrying side down and moved in an opposite direction toward the conveyor.

  • Patent number: 4811057
Abstract: A lamp unit for use in an electrophotographic copying apparatus. The lamp unit containing a lamp moves under an original on the original support. The lamp unit is formed with a slit through which the light from the lamp is shed on to the original and is reflected by it on to a photosensitive object to form an image thereon. The slit is the narrowest at its center and gradually widens toward its both ends. Also, the lamp unit is accelerated until it reaches the center of the original support and is decelerated thereafter. This assures a uniform distribution of light over the surface of a photosensitive object.

  • Patent number: 4776106
Abstract: A web of photosensitive material fed into a drying chamber is carried on an endless conveyer belt hanging in a U-shape in contact with and guided along a U-shaped belt guide. Hot air is blown out of a duct arranged within the U-shaped belt guide to dry the material and press it against the surface of the conveyer belt. Thus, the material is carried by the belt conveyer smoothly without suffering any damages on its surface due to rubbing against guide members.

  • Patent number: 4611918
Abstract: A new method of making it possible to quickly and easily determine the optimum exposure conditions for a photographic color printer is disclosed. The method is performed by way of the steps of preparing a plurality of test prints under different exposure condition using a standard negative film, measuring optical density for each of color components on the test prints, comparing their optical density with that of corresponding color component on a standard print, detecting change in optical density per unit positional change of correction key on each of the test prints with respect to each of color components, and determining corrective value required for correcting density difference between each of test prints and standard print with reference to the above change in optical density per unit positional change of correction key.
