    Abstract: A lever mechanism for connector fitting 1 includes a hold part 2 for holding a connector housing 4, and a handle part 3. When the handle part 3 is rotated and the connector housing 4 is thereby inserted into the connector housing 5, an engaging projection 24 is caused to retreat from the inner surface of a side plate 21 toward the connector housing 4, thereby removing the holding of the connector housing 4 by the hold part 2.
