    Abstract: Animal coccidiosis can be effectively treated with a quinoxaline compound of the formula given below, alone or in combination with o-dichlorobenzene, wherein the quinoxaline compound has the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may be the same or different and each represent a hydrogen atom, lower alkyl group, halogen atom or lower alkoxy group and X represents an oxygen or sulfur atom.
