  • Patent number: 9331932
Abstract: After sensor nodes are deployed, when an edge node accommodating individual sensor nodes has entered a high-load state, the load is distributed to a low-load edge node receiving the same semantic information. A sensor network system comprises a sensor node for generating semantic information by applying sensed numerical data to a defined information format, a broker node for transferring the semantic information generated by the sensor node, and the server node for registering a filter condition for semantic information to be acquired, and, when the broker node accommodating the sensor node has entered a high-load state, searches for another broker node which is in a low-load state and is capable of transferring the semantic information which has been transferred by the high-load broker node, and switches the accommodating relationship of the sensor node from the high-load broker node to the low-load broker node.

  • Patent number: 8798081
Abstract: Provided is an event delivery system where a bottleneck on the system can be eliminated by reducing load on a rendezvous node. The event delivery system includes publisher nodes, subscriber nodes, the rendezvous node, and broker nodes. The rendezvous node includes a traffic monitoring means that monitors the traffic volume of event information issued by the publisher node, and a specific event determination means that determines specific event information subject to load distribution from among the event information when the traffic volume exceeds a predetermined value. Each broker node includes a route defection means that detects whether its own node is an aggregation point node or a branch point node of the delivery route of the specific event information, and a route construction means that constructs a new delivery route of the specific event information going through the aggregation point node and the branch point node, bypassing the rendezvous node.

  • Patent number: 7953081
Abstract: When a mobile terminal (10a) moves from an access network (21a) to another access network (21c), the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal (10a) in an access router (20c) is transferred as alternate information from an access router (20a) to a home agent (30a). The access router (20c) transfers the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal (10a) in the access router (20a) as original information to the home agent (30a) and at the same time transfers the unique information on destination of the mobile terminal (10a) in the access router (20c) as alternate information to the home agent (30a). Using these data, the home agent (30a) builds security association for the mobile terminal (10a) between the access router (20c) and the home agent (30a).

  • Patent number: 7068635
Abstract: In a mobile network of the present invention, a mobile terminal handed over from one network to another network reports its destination and QoS (Quality of Service) information to an IP (Internet Protocol) node to which the mobile terminal is usually connected. The IP node transfers encapsulated IP packets or IP packets with an updated IP address to the destination of the mobile network via a path matching with a QoS class. The mobile network therefore implements end-to-end data communication with guaranteed QoS.

  • Patent number: 6594267
Abstract: An AAL2 packet exchange device is placed in front of an ATM switch for executing CPS packet re-multiplexing into ATM cells. The AAL2 packet exchange device extracts CPS-PDUs (Common Part Sublayer-Protocol Data Units) from ATM cells which are supplied from input ATM lines, extracts CPS packets from the CPS-PDUs, alters CIDs (Channel IDentifiers) of the CPS packets if necessary so that CID collision will not occur between CPS packets supplied from different sources to be outputted to the same output ATM connection, multiplexes the CPS packets to be outputted to the same output ATM connection in ATM cells of the same output ATM connection. The CID alteration is executed by referring to a path setting table which stores each correspondence between a first internal address for discriminating between input ATM connections, an input CID, a second internal address for discriminating between output ATM connections, and an output CID.

  • Patent number: 6587465
Abstract: A base station in a mobile communication system, which enables maintenance of a normal transmission interval of data output, and effective usage of bands, is disclosed. Quality checking part provided in a base station BS rejects those data which the base station has failed to receive in a good receiving state. Instead, quality checking part inserts an invalid data shorter than a valid data. In this way, a vacancy is created in the relevant band or slot correspondingly to a difference between the length of a valid data length and the length of an invalid or dummy data length. This vacant band can be utilized by another user, resulting in that the utilization efficiency of link between the base station and an MSC (Mobile Switching Center) is improved.
