  • Publication number: 20100094495
Abstract: The present invention has an object to provide a pitching control device of a vehicle that controls a pitching motion by controlling a torque of its driving wheels and a control method. In the motor vehicle that drives the driving wheels by the torque of a motor, a moment about the center of gravity of the motor vehicle is found from variations of loads applied to the wheels of the motor vehicle at the time of acceleration that include loads applied to th wheels of the motor vehicle at the time of standstill and an anti-dive force working on front wheels of the motor vehicle and an anti-lift force working on rear wheels of the motor vehicle at the time of braking by a brake. A pitch angle of the motor is computed from this moment. The motor torque of the motor is computed based on the computed pitch angle.

  • Patent number: 7697988
Abstract: An implantable medical device (IMD) includes a detector for detecting the presence of x-ray radiation, where the presence of x-ray radiation is detected in response to the strength of the x-ray radiation exceeding a first threshold. In one embodiment, the IMD includes a processor for adjusting a cardiac stimulation rate IMD in response to determining that the strength of the detected x-ray radiation exceeds a second threshold. The second pre-selected x-ray radiation threshold is greater than the first pre-selected x-ray radiation threshold. In another embodiment, the implantable device includes a detector for detecting the presence of any amount x-ray radiation and a processor for adjusting a stimulation rate provided by the IMD in response to detected x-ray radiation to reduce the chance of over-sampling artifacts or inappropriate therapy delivery.

  • Patent number: 7588838
Abstract: Providing a particle distributed electroluminescent device which is improved in luminescent color control, prevention of luminescent color change over time and heavy circuit load, and/or representation of a delicate gradation sequence, as well as capable of providing high brightness and luminous efficiency, and a display unit using such an electroluminescence device. Two types of luminescent particles, each having a dielectric core and a fluorescent coating layer are used as luminescent particles distributed in a luminescent layer of a particle distributed electroluminescence device. The dielectric cores of the two types of luminescent particles are formed of dielectric materials having different dielectric constants with each other.

  • Publication number: 20090210128
Abstract: The present invention provides a slip rate estimating device measuring a slip ratio without the need for a body speed and a slip ratio control device using the slip ratio estimating device. A motor torque measured by a torque measuring instrument is input to each of a vehicle model (601) and an SRE (602) that performs calculations including time differentiation of the slip ratio. The vehicle model (601) derives a wheel rotation speed, a wheel rotation acceleration, and a body speed. The vehicle model (601) outputs the wheel rotation speed and the wheel rotation acceleration to the SRE (602). The SRE (602) outputs the slip ratio based on the motor torque, the wheel rotation speed, and the wheel rotation acceleration.

  • Patent number: 7567236
Abstract: A communications terminal apparatus, a reception apparatus, and a method can enhance the effect of reducing the amount of information to be transmitted when text data is generated and transmitted. The communications terminal apparatus 100 stores key identifier definition information in a key identifier definition-storage area 1071. The communications terminal apparatus 100 obtains a key identifier corresponding to an operated key from the key identifier definition-storage area 1071 when the key is operated, and adds and stores it as a key identifier string in the input key identifier storage area 1073. The communications terminal apparatus 100 transmits the key identifier string stored in the input key identifier storage area 1073 by the transmission function 1031 when a transmit instruction is detected.

  • Publication number: 20090120363
Abstract: Peeling off of a deposited film formed on the outer surface of a gas supply pipe is effectively prevented, and adhesion of a deposited film which has been peeled off to the inner surface of a container or to a nozzle-sealed surface can be prevented as much as possible. A gas supply pipe 4 for plasma treatment which is inserted in a container 3 held in a plasma treatment chamber 1 to form a deposited film on the inner surface of the container 3 by the supply of a gas for plasma treatment to the inside of the container 3, wherein a supply pipe main body 5 constituting the entire gas supply pipe 4 is formed of a material having a thermal expansion coefficient of 10×10?6/° C. or less. As a result, the possibility that a deposited film formed on the outer surface of the gas supply pipe 4 is peeled off by thermal expansion or thermal shrinkage of the gas supply pipe 4 is reduced.

Abstract: A storage battery which can further intensify the sealing properties of the electrode rod piercing portion thereof, a technique capable of increasing the area of the sealing surface at the sealed portion of the storage battery, a technique capable of certainly preventing the missing of mounting of a rubber-based sealing material corresponding to O-ring at the sealed portion of the storage battery, and an insulating material having an excellent corrosion resistance to highly corrosive battery content and a battery container including same are provided. An electrode rod 14 is allowed to extend upward through an annular member 15, a pressing member 18 is placed on the annular member 15, and a nut 22 is then threaded on a thread portion 21. This threading job is effected until the pressing member 18 is placed on and stopped by a collar portion 23. At the time when threading ends, a neck portion 25 is somewhat compressed to exhibit sealing properties.
