  • Publication number: 20240384457
Abstract: A washing machine includes a controller for controlling a series of washing processes. In a first process, the controller sets a clutch to a first mode in which a rotation of a motor is transferred to a rotating tub via a reducer, and controls the motor to allow the rotation tube to rotate with a first rotation speed which is greater than or equal to a certain rotation speed set to generate a centrifugal force to make laundry stuck to an internal wall of the rotating tub. In a second process after the first process, the controller sets the clutch to a second mode in which the rotation of the motor is transferred to the rotating tub without being through the reducer, and controls the motor to allow the rotating tub to rotate with a second rotation speed which is greater than the first rotation speed.

  • Patent number: 9382859
Abstract: A motor vehicle to which a control device is applied includes an idling stop control section for stopping operation of an engine when a predetermined stopping condition is fulfilled while the engine is idling, and a neutral-at-idle control section for shifting a transmission of the vehicle into neutral when a predetermined shift-into-neutral condition is fulfilled. While a post-stoppage elapsed time measured by a timer is shorter than or equal to a predetermined time after the vehicle stops moving, operation of the engine is stopped by the idling stop control section if the predetermined stopping condition is fulfilled but shifting of the transmission into neutral by the neutral-at-idle control section is prohibited even if the shift-into-neutral condition is fulfilled.

  • Patent number: 8143741
Abstract: An electric power generation control device for a motor vehicle is provided which ensures a satisfactory regenerative effect without entailing flickering of or reduction in life of headlights even if the headlights are turned on at all times. The electric power generation control device lowers the power generation voltage of an alternator when the electricity storage amount of a battery is at or above a predetermined level. While lighting of a headlight bulb is detected, lowering of the power generation voltage is restrained if the state of sunlight is equivalent to nighttime, and the power generation voltage is allowed to be lowered if the sunlight state is equivalent to daytime.
