  • Publication number: 20160152221
Abstract: A boost state of an upstream side brake fluid pressure producing device that boosts a braking operation force of a braking operation member and produces a fluid pressure in a master cylinder is adjusted according to a refluxing brake fluid characteristic of brake fluid that refluxes to the master cylinder by a pressure decrease control and an outflowing brake fluid characteristic of the brake fluid that flows out of the master cylinder into a wheel cylinder by a pressure increase control, and variation of the braking operation member is suppressed. It is therefore possible to suppress an occurrence of vibration and noise of the brake pedal during the ABS control.

  • Publication number: 20150061362
Abstract: When a driving force of a drive motor (21) becomes a maximum driving force even in the case where a brake pedal (5) is depressed by a large amount while a vehicle is in a stopped state, a second ECU (33) outputs a valve-closing command to a boost control valve (40, 40?) of an ESC (31) for a left front wheel (FL; front wheel 1L) and a right front wheel (FR; front wheel 1R). In this manner, a hydraulic pressure flowing from a master cylinder (8) through the ESC (31) to each wheel side is not supplied to wheel cylinders (3L, 3R) for the front wheels (1L, 1R) but is supplied only to wheel cylinders (4L, 4R) for rear wheels (2L, 2R). A hydraulic stiffness of the wheel cylinders (3L, 3R, 4L, 4R) is changed by stopping supply of a brake fluid to the wheel cylinders (3L, 3R).

  • Publication number: 20140021776
Abstract: In order to provide a hydraulic brake system of a motor vehicle that damps noises that would be produced under a vehicle running support brake control and damps uncomfortable feeling that would be applied to a driver when a brake pedal stroke takes place, there is proposed a brake fluid pressure control system in which a fluid pressure required by a selected brake cylinder of a road wheel is calculated based on a behavior of the motor vehicle, and for obtaining the required fluid pressure required by the selected brake cylinder, an upstream side brake fluid pressure controlling device is operated to increase the brake cylinder fluid pressure to a given pressure and thereafter a downstream side brake fluid pressure controlling device is operated to further increase the brake cylinder fluid pressure.
