  • Publication number: 20070144281
Abstract: A shaft 30 in which all of a moving cylinder 36 and a deep groove ball bearing ball bearing 62 are assembled and a reduction gear shaft 73 are assembled to a first shell 12 and then, a potentiosensor 70 is assembled to the first shell 12. A feed coupler is connected to a terminal 50, the driven gear 72 is rotated and adjusted to a predetermined sensor voltage value. The potentiosensor 70 is allowed to slide toward a worm wheel 59, and a large-diameter reduction gear 74 is meshed with a pinion 76.

  • Patent number: 6389914
Abstract: The invention relates to a one-axis starter apparatus which can eliminate the use of a one-way rotation clutch and simplify the machining of the motor shaft, wherein while the first male helical spline is provided at the tip end of the motor shaft, the inner member is externally provided at the tip end portion of the corresponding motor shaft via the first female helical spline. The second male helical spline is provided in the screwing direction opposite to the first male and female helical splines, respectively, on the outer circumferential surface of the inner member, whereas the outer member, having a pinion gear formed thereon via the second female helical spline, is externally fitted to the corresponding inner member, and a pressing mechanism which presses the outer member toward the tip end o the starter apparatus intervenes between the corresponding outer member and the inner member.

  • Patent number: 6199265
Abstract: When a magnet cover 21 is press-fitted into the inner peripheral surfaces of magnets 18 annularly arranged on the inner peripheral surface of a hollow cylindrical yoke 11 having at an end thereof a closure wall 12, the magnets 18 are arranged peripherally at regular intervals on the outer peripheral surface of the magnet cover 21 that is supported by the lower die 34. The yoke 11 is held by the upper die 31 and arranged coaxially relative to the magnet cover 21 with open end 14 directed to the magnet cover 21. As the upper die 31 and the lower die 34 are closed relative to each other, the magnets 18 and the magnet cover 21 are press-fitted into the yoke 11 as the outer peripheral surfaces 19 of the magnets 18 are pressed by the inner peripheral surface of the yoke 11. Thus, the magnets 18 are rigidly secured to the yoke 11 without arranging a through hole in the closure wall 12 of the yoke.

  • Patent number: 5894756
Abstract: A governor system is provided for engine starter mechanisms to prevent a premature retracting movement of a single-direction rotatable clutch. The governor system is constructed with a reduced number of parts and such that a clutch does not suffer from the increased angular momentum as it rotates together with a governor weight. The governor system includes a casing or a bracket fixed to a driven gear, with the governor weight received in the casing. The governor weight is provided with a first and a second weight portion which are different in weight from each other such that the center of gravity of the governor weight is disposed radially eccentric.
