  • Patent number: 5739100
Abstract: A compound represented by formula (1): ##STR1## wherein R is alkyl or other hydrocarbyl, and a fragrance/flavor-imparting agent, a fragrance/flavor-retaining agent, and a perfume composition, each containing this compound as an active ingredient; and a process for preparing this compound either by reacting a compound of formula (2): ##STR2## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are hydrocarbyl, with cis-3-hexen-1-ol, or by reacting cis-3-hexenal-di-cis-3-hexenyl acetal with an alcohol, R.sup.7 OH.

  • Patent number: 4798618
Abstract: Disclosed herein are novel chloroacetanilide derivatives which act as remarkably effective herbicides when sprayed in a paddy field, the chloroacetanilide derivatives being 2',6'-diethyl-N-[(cis-alkenyloxy)methyl]-2-chloroacetanilides [A] represented by the general formula ##STR1## wherein R is a cis-form alkenyl group having 4 or 5 carbon atoms. Also disclosed are herbicide compositions for use in a paddy field and containing at least one of said chloroacetanilide derivatives [A] and at least one pyrazole derivative [B] represented by the general formula ##STR2## wherein R is a hydrogen atom or methyl group and X is a 4-toluenesulfonyl group or benzoylmethyl group; or-.alpha.

  • Patent number: 4684737
Abstract: A process for producing a substituted phthalic acid which comprises heating a substituted tetrahydrophthalic acid compound having a substituent in at least one of the 3-, 4-, 5- and 6-positions in the presence of sulfur to dehydrogenate it, and heat-treating the product in the presence of water optionally together with an organic solvent. As required, the heat-treated product is dehydrocyclized to form a substituted phthalic acid anhydride.

  • Patent number: 4606066
Abstract: Disclosed is an image processor that processes desired image data according to a program. In the image processor, the addressing desired pixels which is stored in an image memory is performed by an address processor, and a partial image taken out of the image memory by the address processor is written into a shared memory, and then data is drawn out from the shared memory by an operational processor to carry out operational processing. The address processor is provided with a buffer memory in which image data in a predetermined area is stored and successively renewed by an increment/decrement designation for read and write operations.
