    Abstract: An image display device may include a varifocal optical element that condenses a light beam emitted from a light source and scans a projection surface with the light beam from the varifocal optical element. The varifocal optical element may include lenses located side by side in a direction orthogonal to their optical axes that are in parallel with each other; an orthogonal plane mirror that reflects the beam that passes through one of the lens to the other lens; and an actuator that moves the orthogonal plane mirror in parallel along the optical axes of the lenses. The displacement of the actuator may be controlled based on the scanning angle.

A control device controls the friction engagement element. The control device reduces the transfer torque of the friction engagement element during engine starting in a predetermined low temperature environment or during travel on a bad road, compared to the transfer torque of the friction engagement element in an engaged state.

    Abstract: A seal member of a driver apparatus contacts a case and a first frame end. The seal member has an opening in which a lead wire is inserted and an inside wall surface of the opening contacts the lead wire. Further, the seal member is made of a stretchable material, and is held in position only by a binding force between the case and the first frame end. The seal member is fixedly held by the first frame end and the case after an insertion of the lead wire in the opening and disposition on the fixing member opposing face. Therefore, an installation of the seal member is performed by an inserting the lead wire into the opening and a positioning the seal member on the case.
