  • Patent number: 12196592
Abstract: A mechanism for measuring an amount of a liquid composition and discharging it, and a quantitative dispensing container and a quantitative applicator including such a mechanism including a base and a head defining a measurement space therebetween. The base and the head are configured to be capable of changing the volume of the measurement space in response to a predetermined operation of the head including a measurement operation for increasing the volume of the measurement space and a discharge operation for reducing the volume of the measurement space. The base includes a first passageway for allowing the composition to flow from the outside into the measurement space, and a first check valve located on the first passageway. The first check valve of the base increases its sealability if there is a positive pressure in the measurement space.

  • Publication number: 20220299351
Abstract: Provided are a measuring mechanism for measuring a predetermined fixed amount or an arbitrary amount of a liquid composition and discharging it, and a quantitative dispensing container and a quantitative applicator including such a mechanism. A measuring mechanism is provided that includes a base and a head defining a measurement space between the base and itself, the base and the head configured to be capable of changing the volume of the measurement space in response to a predetermined operation of the head including a measurement operation for increasing the volume of the measurement space and a discharge operation for reducing the volume of the measurement space. The base includes a first passageway for allowing the composition to flow from the outside into the measurement space, and a first check valve located on the first passageway. The first check valve of the base increases its sealability if there is a positive pressure in the measurement space.

  • Publication number: 20210213002
Abstract: The present invention provides a non-coating topical therapeutic agent for tinea unguium containing medium-chain triglyceride and the like as non-volatile components, which agent has high nail permeability and is superior in the aspects of efficacy and preparation properties, and can be applied clinically. Particularly, the present invention provides a topical therapeutic agent for tinea unguium containing an antifungal active substance such as efinaconazole or the like, a volatile component, an additive such as medium-chain triglyceride or the like, and a permeation enhancer such as ethyl lactate and the like. The preparation shows remarkably improved nail permeability has superior properties as a pharmaceutical product from the aspects of efficacy and preparation properties.

  • Publication number: 20170258716
Abstract: The present invention provides a cancer treatment method in which side effects are inhibited. Specifically, in a combination therapy of a high intensity focused ultrasound therapy at an irradiation intensity of 320 to 700 W/cm2 and an anti-cancer agent therapy, an anti-cancer agent containing an anthracycline is used such that the anthracycline in a dose of 0.5 to 7.5 mg/kg body weight is administered to a cancer patient.

  • Patent number: 7985197
Abstract: A therapeutic-substance carrying/administering appliance includes a cylindrical outer sheath; a slide member installed in the cylindrical outer sheath to be slidable therein; and a sheet supporting member, connected to a distal end of the slide member and made of a resilient material, for supporting a sheet-shaped therapeutic substance. The sheet supporting member is held in a flat unrolled shape in a free state in which the sheet supporting member projects outwardly from a distal end of the cylindrical outer sheath. When the sheet supporting member is in the free state, sliding the slide member in a retracting direction causes the sheet supporting member to contact the distal end of the cylindrical outer sheath, and subsequently further moving the slide member in the retracting direction causes the sheet supporting member to be retracted into the cylindrical outer sheath while being deformed into a tubular shape.

  • Patent number: 7050877
Abstract: A method for modeling an implant to be applied to a defect of a bone comprises the steps of obtaining a plurality of tomographic image data of the bone based on measurement data by MRI, producing three-dimensional image data of the bone based on the plurality of tomographic image data, and estimating a shape of a missing born that was previously present or should have been present in the defect of the bone to obtain three-dimensional data of the implant. The estimating step comprises the steps of estimating a provisional shape of the implant which has a contour conformable with the shape of a contour of periphery of the side walls of the defect at the distal surface of the bone and has a predetermined thickness; and deleting data of portions of the provisional shape of the implant that overlap the bone from the data of the provisional shape of the implant so that the three-dimensional data of the implant has an outer peripheral shape that is conformable with the shape of the side walls of the defect.
