  • Publication number: 20240069190
Abstract: A wind speed prediction device includes processing circuitry configured to acquire a scattering signal that is each of a plurality of beams after being emitted to space and scattered in the space; variably set a range bin width as distance resolution of each of the acquired scattering signals in accordance with an elevation angle of each of the beams emitted to the space, and calculate at least one Doppler frequency of at least one range bin corresponding to a two-dimensional plane including an observation region from the each of the scattering signals; estimate at least one wind speed distribution in the two-dimensional plane from the plurality of Doppler frequencies calculated; and predict a wind speed in the observation region from the at least one wind speed distribution in the two-dimensional plane using a two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equation.

  • Publication number: 20220203947
Abstract: A hydraulics assembly, in particular for controlling the brake pressure of a wheel brake of an electronically slip-controllable brake system of a motor vehicle, includes a hydraulic block having a recess for receiving a pump element, a line connection for contacting the hydraulics assembly to the wheel brake, channels for providing the pump element with brake fluid, and a hydraulic cavity formed in the interior of the hydraulic block, which cavity is contacted with the recess for the pump element. The cavity includes a riser, which extends from the recess for the pump element in the direction toward the line connection of the hydraulic block and is contacted with the recess for the pump element. The suction line collects gas escaping from the pressure means due to temperature and/or pressure changes and improves the operating noise of the hydraulics assembly.

  • Publication number: 20070186824
Abstract: A sidewalk tile with snow-removal function is stably obtained that is capable of being heated to a desired temperature, while at the same time sufficiently maintaining strength. A heat-generating concrete body is obtained by mixing particle-form (granular) or powder-form carbon material with un-hardened concrete at a specified ratio, and then pressing it with a high-pressure press at a pressure of approximately 980 kN to remove moisture and to form it into a tile shape. A pair of electrodes are embedded in end sections on both ends in the width direction of the heat-generating concrete body. The outer surfaces of the heat-generating concrete body are covered with an insulation-coating layer. One side and the circumference of the heat-generating concrete body are covered with un-hardened concrete and formed into a single tile shape by pressing with a high-pressure press to obtain a sidewalk tile with the snow-removal function.

  • Patent number: 6435395
Abstract: Sheet post processing apparatus is disclosed in a compact form for receiving from an image forming machine successive sheets of printed material and performing post processing thereto, by feeding sheets into the apparatus at the output speed of the image forming machine, by stopping the leading edge of the sheets by feed rolls, performing a first post process on the sheet, upstream of the feed rolls, then feeding the processed sheet, by said feed rolls, at a higher speed by either a bypass path to a receiver or through a divergent path by a diverter to an inclined tray beneath the first processor for performance of a different post process and then from the inclined tray to a stacker by an additional output feed associated with the inclined tray.
