  • Patent number: 10395107
Abstract: An authentication system and method is configured to correlate a first computer mounted with a touch panel owned by a store and a second computer, such as a smart device held by a client side, for performing a contact operation using an input device, and clarifying that both exist in the same space based on a time difference in the time of contact of both.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 10338728
Abstract: A ticket image (trigger information), an imprint image, and special information (related information) are preliminarily stored in a computer including a touch panel. First, the ticket image is displayed on the touch panel. Then, when a stamp device is placed on the touch panel, the imprint image is displayed on the ticket image in an overlapped manner. Therefore, an intrinsic purpose of the stamp device is achieved. From this state, an icon is further displayed in the imprint image. When the icon is selected, the special information is outputted. As described, pressing a stamp with the stamp device is a necessary condition for outputting the special information, thus a “key” function for providing information is added to the stamp device.

  • Patent number: 10156916
Abstract: An input device identification method is applicable to an input device including at least three contact surfaces. The input device identification method includes the steps of: storing distances between contact surfaces (s01); acquiring coordinates of respective contact surfaces of the input device placed on the touch panel (s02); calculating distances between the acquired coordinates (s03); calculating a similarity ratio between a shape formed by the respective acquired coordinates and a shape formed by the respective contact surfaces on the basis of the calculated distances and the stored distances (s04); and identifying the input device by comparing the stored distances and the calculated distances after converting either one of the stored distances and the calculated distances to the same scale as the other on the basis of the similarity ratio (s05).

  • Publication number: 20160054852
Abstract: Correction information defined based on a tendency of adjustment made by execution of system software is stored in a memory in advance. A CPU acquires adjusted coordinates output from the system software. Moreover, the CPU acquires a display direction of an image from the system software. Then, the CPU extracts the correction information corresponding to this display direction from the memory and applies this correction information to the acquired adjustment coordinates. Thereby, actual coordinates, which are coordinates before the adjustment made by the system software, can be acquired.

  • Patent number: 7508542
Abstract: An image forming device includes a plurality of holding units that holds data of pixels around a target pixel, a weight generating unit that generates a weight for each holding unit, a plurality of weight applying units that applies a corresponding weight to the data held by each holding unit, and a control unit that determines an exposing energy for the target pixel in accordance with an output of each weight applying unit.

  • Patent number: 6903848
Abstract: An image scanning device that can be manufactured less costly. When ADF scans an original document (21) loaded in a document hopper (22) of a document feeder unit (12), a stepper motor (M2) is first driven by a motor driver (101) such that it moves a first carriage (50) from a second document scanning start position (P3) to a first document scanning position (P2). The first carriage (50) carries a scanner (14). After that, another stepper motor (M1) is activated by the same motor driver (101) to move the original document (21) over a contact glass (25), and the original document is scanned by the scanner (14). The two stepper motors (M1, 2M2) are selectively driven by the single motor driver (101) so that cost reduction is realized as compared with providing two motor drivers for two stepper motors.
